Christmas Gift Tag

I have cut the tag using a Die'sire create a card die set. The sentiment is cut using a Tonic die and the poinsettia with a Marianne die. I assembled these elements after inking the edges and then completed the tag with ribbon  and flat backed pearl.

Wedding Invitation

I have been asked to make wedding invitations.

On one of the engagement cards I made for the couple I put the trellis. The bride to be wanted it on her invitations and her theme is lilac, ivory and pearls.

So this is what I come up with. I matt and layered the 5x7in ivory card with lilac and ivory. I die cut the trellis using a Cheery Lynn die. I printed wedding invitation and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. I mounted it on a lilac oval cut with the next size die in the nesting set then attached it to the trellis. I completed the invitation with flat backed pearls.

The bride to be liked it,  so 79 to go!!

Train Christmas Card

I have rounded the corners of my white 8x8in card with a punch.

I covered my card with Anna Marie spotty card.

I added a piece of white card on the bottom of the card. I added the heart embellishment and he die cut train. I cut the train with a Marianne die. I added small die cut elements into the carriages. The duck, boat and rattle are cut with Sue Wilson dies. The candy cane and lolly are cut with Xcut dies.

I die cut the oval with a Presscut die from a nesting set and attached the sentiment to it. I die cut the sentiment with a Crafts Too die in red and green card and slightly offset then when attaching them to create a drop shadow

Nan birthday exploding box

I was asked to make a card for a Nan and Mam on the same card for a lady that loves cake.

I had this paper pack so I thought an exploding box with a cake in the centre was ideal.

I have made the box using the instructions you will find under tutorials on my blog.

I covered all panels with the cake and tea patterned paper. I die cut various elements to add to the box and made a cake for the centre. I printed to personalised sentiments to add to the box

Football Supporter Card

This is for my DT post over at movingalongwiththetimes. The theme this time is "for a man".

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with black card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious picnic plaid embossing folder. I rounded the corners of these layers with a punch.

I added a football team emblem that I mounted on black card. I rounded the corners on these layers too, I die cut the football boots with a Sweet Dixie die in black and paper pieced them with white pieces and added it to a die cut circle. I die cut the trophy with silver mirror card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a nesting set from The Works and die cut the next size in set in black to mount the sentiment before adding to my card.

I completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch.

Perfume Bottle Birthday Card

I have matt and layered my white 8x8in white card with gold and red card. I die cut three gold strips using the Sue Wilson Eternal Ring striplet die then attached these to white card and cut around them. I attached this to my card. I die cut the perfume bottle in gold using Sue Wilson dies. I attached sticky adhesive sheet to the background of the perfume bottles and then added the intricate part. I added Tonic glitter to the perfume bottles. I attached the bottles to the die cut strip background. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders die from a nesting set, then cut the next size in the nesting set to mount the sentiment before adding it to the card. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Family Tree Birthday Card

I have used the Xcut Family Tree die set to create this card. I have made an 8x8in white easel card and matt and layered the top and bottom with pink and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Xcut embossing folder. I die cut the family tree and then printed the names of the recipients family and then die cut them with a small heart die. I die cut the grass with a Memory Box die and added the flowers to the grass and the tree that I die cut with a Cheery Lynn multi flower die.

I also added leaves to the tree that I cut with a punch.

I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic die from a nesting set. I cut the next two sizes to mount the sentiment. I then attached this topper to the base of the card with foam pads to act as a stopper for the easel

I completed my card with flat backed pearls

First Christmas exploding box

I wanted to make something a bit different for a baby first Christmas card. I have made the exploding box using the technique under tutorials on my blog. I have made this box with the two biggest layers. I used patterned paper from a paper pad from The Range. The pad is 10cm x 10cm and called all is bright. I have used various die cuts on each panel. I have left two panels plain to add personalised sentiments at a later date. I have added the train in the centre of the box which is a tree decoration from The Range.

Bauble Christmas Card

This card is for my DT post over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper.

I have matt and layered the top and bottom of my 8x8in white easel card with red tartan and plain red card and added red satin ribbon down the card where the two card meet.  I have die cut the baubles using a Spellbinders nesting set. I embossed the baubles using a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I attached the baubles to my card and added narrow gold ribbon at the top of the baubles. I die cut the poinsettia using Tattered Lace dies. I added a strip of card on the bottom and ovals that will include personalised sentiments. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Birthday Card

I have been quiet on here for a few days because I have been working on a bigger project that I will share with you soon. I had to make this quick make to get it in the post.

I have matt and layered my card 8x8 white card with turquoise and then white card. I have die cut the valance and trellis using Cheery Lynn dies and then printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set, I die cut the next size in the nesting set to mount my sentiment. I attached the ovals to my card and then a "Me To You" topper and gems.

I have been doing some parchment today. I want to add these to a new baby project I am working on

Dog Birthday Card

I have been asked to make a birthday for my son's girlfriend to give her Mam. She wanted a photograph of their dog on it.

I wouldn't normally do a card for a lady in black and platinum but I liked the colours with the black and white photograph. I printed the photograph and a sentiment. I matt and layered my 8x8in card with black and platinum card then matt and layered the photograph. I die cut the sentiment with a die set from The Works. I assembled the elements onto my card and finally added a small die cut heart.

Box for card from a previous post

I have been busy making a box today to go with this card from an earlier post.

I used the same Anna Marie gingham card and pink card to cover the box and then embellished the box.with the same ribbons and die cut a tag using  a Marianne die

Wedding Anniversary

I have made the card for my husband, our Wedding Anniversary is tomorrow.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then white card.  I printed a personalised sentiment on the white card before cutting it to size. I embossed red card and attached it down the side of my card and then added the satin ribbon at the end of the red card. I then attached three white ovals that I cut with a Crafts Too die. I attached three different love die cuts onto these ovals.

Gift Bag

I am enjoying making gift bags and boxes at the moment. I'm using up my stash and having a change from making cards.

I am making a New Baby Record Book with Tonic Memory Book dies

1st Christmas Tree Decoration

I have covered a MDF bauble shape with Anna Marie spotty paper. I attached tiny pompon around the edge of the bauble and then a heart time around the front and back of the bauble. I die cut the gingerbread girl with a Cheery Lynn die in tan card and attached a small piece of black card behind the eyes and red card behind the little hearts before attaching the gingerbread girl to the bauble. I die cut the Merry Christmas with Dovecraft dies and the 1st with Tattered Lace dies. I completed my decoration with red ribbon.

I have made this card prepared for personalisation.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and then gold embossed card. I embossed the gold card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I rounded the corners of these layers with a punch

I have die cut the baubles using a Spellbinders nesting set. I embossed the baubles with a Sue Wilson embossing folder. I die cut the poinsettia with a Marianne die. I embellished the baubles with a ribbon and a fancy embellishments from Chloes Creative Card. I die cut the scalloped ovals with Crafts Too dies. Closer to Christmas I will print a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped oval die and put it in the place of the white oval on the card. Personalised Anniversary card

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with silver mirror card, navy card and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I attached ribbon across my card and that attached some lace and pearl embellishment through the centre of the ribbon. I used a nesting set of dies from The Works and firstly die cut the larger size in the silver mirror card, the next size in navy. I die cut the flourishes with Cheery Lynn large and small dies. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with the next size in the nesting set. I attached the flourishes around the sentiment. I attached the larger flourish on the ribbon before adding the other embellishments with my glue gun. I have added flowers then pearls on string and pearl pins between the flowers.
