Penblwydd Hapus Card

My first project using Groovi plates. I have used the Butterfly wreath plate and the border plate one. I have used a Pergamano two needle tool and scissors and a half circle tool. I coloured my parchment with Spectrum Noir pencils. I attached my parchment to my card with brads. I die cut a sentiment with a Tattered Lace die and cut a banner using a Sue Wilson die. I rounded the corners of my card with a punch. My parchment craft has a long way to go but I am enjoying the challenge!!

Grandson 18th Birthday Card

My first born is 18 next week, I can't believe how quick the time has gone since he was born. This is a card for his Nanna and Grandpa to give him

Easter Bonnet for my niece Lily

I used a bonnet from a supermarket. I covered the crown of the bonnet with cotton wool balls using a glue gun. I printed a lamb mask out and coloured it before cutting it out. I stuck small pieces of cotton wool around the face. I cut pieces of black card for legs and stuck them on the sides of the bonnet. I cut thin strips of tissue paper for grass and stuck them around the brim of the bonnet using the glue gun. I stuck a few chicks and die cut daffodils (using a Lea'Creatables die) in the grass.

50th birthday card for cat lover

Something a bit different for me. A neighbour and friend is 50 today and it took some thought about what I could put on his card. He has two cats, one is black and white so I thought maybe another iris folding if I could find a pattern.

I found the pattern online and used card from my stash. I printed a personalised sentiment and matt and layered my 8x8in white card. I die cut the numbers using Tattered Lace dies. I cut them in white and black card and off set them when I stuck them down. I cut a scalloped circle with a die from a Xcut nesting set. I cut red stars using a punch.

My first attempt at Parchment

My first attempt at Parchment. I have always thought about giving this craft a go. Recently I have watched demonstrations on television and wondered if it was worth a go. I adapted a project from a magazine to include materials I had and using the recipients favourite colours. The corner holds the bookmark keepsake in place.

It is far from perfect but my Mother-in-law loved it.

The corner die used is by Heartfelt Creations. I have used brads from my stash. I have printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate die.

Pretty lady Mother's Day card

This card is my post for the challenge of at 2 Creative Chicks

I have matt and layered a white 8x8in white card with red and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious folder. I die cut a trellis in red with a Cheery Lynn die and backed it on plain white card. I stamped with a Julie Nutting stamp. I like doing this with the spotty paper, I think it makes a fab dress something I would love to have in my wardrobe! I layered parts of her dress to make it stand out. I coloured the other elements with my Spectrum Noir pens. I have printed a sentiment and cut it with a Go Kreate die and layered it on a red scalloped oval. I die cut the flowers using a Cheery Lynn dies. I inked the edges of the flowers and added an embellishment to the centre. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.
