Deer card

These cute deer are always very popular for little girls. They are one of my favourite dies,

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with tan and pink card, I rounded the corners of these layers with a punch. I have embossed white card and attached that to the top of my card. Using different widths of green card , I have die cut the one side with a Memory Box die to create layers of grass. Before putting the final layer on I have added a fence that I cut in brown using a Memory Box die. I die cut the tree using a Memory Box die and added it to my card sticking the bottom behind the top layer of grass. I die cut the deer using Marianne dies. I assembled the deer and then added them to my card tucking them between the layers of grass. I die cut the flowers using a Cheery Lynn die and attached the small flowers to the tree and the larger flowers amongst the grass. I completed with tiny flat backed pearls in the centre of the larger flowers.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

A card for some of my neighbours

I matt and layered this card with gold and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I used the Sue Wilson Poinsettia stained glass window die to make the topper. I have used the die to cut white to use the outline. I then cut in red, gold and green and built up the design in these colours. I added flat backed pearls to the centre of the poinsettias. I die cut the sentiment using a Sue Wilson die and added to the scalloped ovals that I cut with Crafts Too nesting dies. I added the poinsettia to the oval, I cut it with Tattered Lace dies. I mounted the Stained Glass element onto gold then red card before adding to my card blank.

Nadolig Llawen Gift Tag

This is my project for the challenge over at movingalongwiththetimes. I have been making these tags to match my colour scheme but unfortunately the shopping for the presents isn't going very well so I won't have anything to put the tags on if I don't get some presents soon.

I have die cut my card in kraft card and cream card using Die'sire create a card dies. I inked the edges and then attached the layers together. I die cut the reindeer using a Sizzix die and the sentiment using Tattered Lace dies. I punched a hole in the top of the tag and added some ribbon and twine.

Gingham card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and gingham card, I have distressed the edges of the layers. I have added ribbon down my card. I have used a Hobby House topper and used a circle and a scalloped circle die to die cut to layer my topper. I have die cut the banner using Sue Wilson dies and added the sentiment that I cut using a Cheery Lynn die. I completed my card with flowers, berries and pearls strands from Anna Marie.

Tartan Bauble Christmas Card

I have made an 8x8in white easel card and matt and layered the top and the bottom with red tartan and red plain card. I added red satin ribbon where the two papers meet. I added green card across the bottom of the card to act as the stopper for the easel and added the satin ribbon across that. I die cut the baubles using Spellbinders dies. I embossed the bauble with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I added narrow gold ribbon from the top of the card to the top of each bauble. I added a poinsettia that I cut with Tattered Lace dies to the top of each bauble. I die cut ovals using Presscut nesting dies. The white oval will include a personalised sentiment. I have added poinsettia to the bottom of the card. I have embellished my card with various flat backed pearls.

My Christmas Tree decoration was published in Papercraft Inspirations magazine

Reindeer gift tag

I have used a Die'sire create a card die to make the tag in kraft card. I used the next size down in the set to cut parchment paper. I die cut the poinsettia and reindeer with Tattered Lace dies. I inked the edges of the elements before assembling them. I made a hole in the top of the tag with a punch and added twine and a bell.

Baby 1st Christmas personalised tree decoration

I have covered a MDF bauble shape with patterned paper using PVA glue. I have glued white pom poms around the outside edge and then the gingham heart trim around the edge of the face of the bauble.  I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Sue Wilson die and then next size in the set in red card to mount the sentiment. I added this to the bauble with foam pads.

I die cut the gingerbread man with a Cheery Lynn die in tan card and added red card behind the eyes and buttons. I attached red ribbon to the bauble to hang the bauble from my Christmas tree.

 Christmas is coming. I need to get on with my gift bags, tags, decorations.............

I have used a plain brown paper gift bag that I have bought from The Range. I have covered my bag with patterned paper from Kanban that I had in my stash. I also used a matching reindeer topper. I die cut the tags with Sue Wilson dies and added the sentiment that I cut with Tattered Lace dies. I added a satin ribbon bow to the reindeer.

Gingerbread man gift tag

I have used a Die sire Create a Card die to make this tag. I used the next size in the nesting set to cut the patterned paper, I cut the gingerbread man using a Cheery Lynn die and the numbers with Tattered Lace dies. I inked all the edges of these elements before assembling them. I completed my tag with ribbon, twine and a bell.

CAS Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with gold card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I die cut the lattice design using a Sue Wilson die, I attached this to white card before attaching to me card.  I die cut the scalloped oval with a Go Kreate die. I die cut the star embellishments and banner with Sue Wilson dies. I made the poinsettia with die cuts using Tattered Lace dies, the sentiment is also a Tattered Lace dies (Welsh for Happy Christmas), I attached the sentiment to the banner. I assembled all the die cut elements on my card. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Mr and Mrs Claus Christmas Card

I have used the Tonic Mr and Mrs Claus die set to make the elements for this card. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card, red and white gingham card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I added satin ribbon where the gingham card and embossed card meet. I added the Mr and Mrs Claus then added the sentiment that I cut with a Crafts Too die. I cut the sentiment in black and red card. I slightly offset the die cuts when attaching them to my card to create a shadow effect. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Iris Folded Bauble Christmas Card

This is my card for the Reader Patterned Paper Design Team in the Quick Cards Made Easy magazine.

I have covered my card blank with patterned paper. I printed a Iris folding pattern and used various patterned papers from the set to complete the bauble. I attached the folding to my card then added satin ribbon. I attached two sentiments that came with the patterned papers.

Bauble Christmas Card

I have used the Sue Wilson Intermediate Weaving die to cut the elements to make the inside of the baubles. I have used red, green and gold mirror card. I then cut the baubles with a Spellbinder nesting side. I used two sizes for each bauble to enable me to make an aperture for the weaved design. I attached the baubles over the weaving and cut around it with scissors. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red, green and white embossed card. I used a Crafts Too embossing folder. I attached the baubles to my card and then ribbon from the top of my card to each of the baubles. I then added a sentiment cut with an Elizabeth Craft Designs die. I added a die cut poinsettia cut with Marianne dies. I completed my card with flat backed embellishments.

Winter scene Christmas card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with blue glitter card and white pearl card. I have die cut the blue scalloped circle using a Xcut die from the blue layer before attaching it to my card. I have die cut a circle using a Go Kreate die in the white layer before attaching it to my card. I attached the scalloped circle to my card. I cut the circle in half and attached the semi circle to my card. I die cut various elements to create a village scene using Marianne dies. I added Tonic Nuvo glitter accents to the roof tops for a snowy effect. I die cut snowflakes in blue and white with a Cheery Lynn die and added them to my card. I completed my card with flat backed gems.

I have finally sorted my internet problems and can start blogging again.

Here is my project for the November challenge at crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper

I have matt and layered my 8x8in card with pink card then white embossed card and patterned paper. I have used patterned paper from Lidl and a Crafts Too embossing folder. I put pink satin ribbon across my card where the patterned paper and embossed card meet. I have printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Sue Wilson die. I then cut the other elements in pink and assembled them before adding them to my card along with a flourish that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.
