Poinsettia Christmas card

A 8x8in white card matt and layered with red card and embossed white card. The folder used for the top was free with a magazine and the folder used for the bottom is a Crafts Too folder. The personalised Welsh sentiment is cut and layered using Go Kreate dies. I have cut two flourishes using a Cheery Lynn die and the poinsettias are cut using Marianne dies. I have embellished with red gems from my stash.

Bauble Christmas Card

A 8x8in white card matt and layered with purple card and white card with a personalised sentiment printed. The baubles have been cut using Marianne dies to cut mirror card and the purple card has been used for the background. I have decorated the card with peel offs and bows.

Molly Bloom Christmas card

Practicing my stamping!! Trying to get Molly Bloom to sit on the bed, I find colouring quite difficult but these images really suit one of my nieces so I will continue to practice.  The window and curtains are Memory Box dies and the sentiment is cut out with a Sizzix heart die.

Golden Wedding Card

The "Joy" is cut using a Sue Wilson die and placed on a scalloped oval cut with a Go Kreate die. The Poinsettia are cut using a Marianne die. The card is embellished with gems.

A 6x6in white card matt and layered with pink card, the top has the sentiment printed on white card the bottom is white embossed card. Card is embossed using a Sue Wilson folder. Gingham ribbon is added with a pearl slider.

A pram is cut with a Marianne die in pink and the carriage is cut in mirror card for a realistic finish.

High Top With Ribbon

I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Crafty Boots Challenges this month, Their challenge this month is Ribbon or Lace. This is my first opportunity to be a designer.

This is a white 8x8in card with patterned paper from a "Paper Stack". I have cut a circle with a Go Kreate die then embossed it.

I cut out a High Top with a Die-namics die in the patterned paper, yellow and white to co-ordinate with the card. I carefully thread ribbon through the holes so it looks like laces. The sentiment has been printed and cut out with a Sizzix heart die. The card had been completed with gems from my stash.

Birthday card for my fishing mad husband

An A4 white card matt and layered with bronze and white embossed card. The white card is embossed using a Embossalicious embossing folder. The topper is by HunkyDory Magnificent Men collection, Dressed for the Occasion  - Fisherman's Friend. I cut the sentiment with Sizzix heart die.

Floral Heart Birthday Card

I have been die cutting for a few years now but I have never tried cutting anything other than card. I thought I would experiment with felt.

An A4 landscape card matt and layered with purple card and white embossed card. The white card is embossed using a Xcut embossing folder. I used a Tattered Lace die set for the bigger flowers and a Cheery Lynn die for the smaller flowers. I embellished the flowers with buttons and the smaller flowers with flat backed pearls. I cut a template from two Sizzix heart dies to stick the flowers to. A sentiment is die cut with a Sizzix heart die and placed behind the floral heart.

The sentiment is die cut and layered with a Sizzix flower nesting die. This is embellished with flat back pearls.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year- Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda

A 8x8in easel card. The top of the card is partly embossed using a holly folder by Embossalicious and partly matt and layered with red card and white card. The wreath is made from a Sizzix die. I have cut out the matching die a few times to build up the wreath. The poinsettia are made using a Tattered Lace die. The card is embellished with green satin ribbon with the sentiment Nadolig Llawen (Merry Christmas in Welsh), this is one of the few things I have found over the years specifically for Welsh crafting. The card is also also embellished with flat backed pearls. the base of the card is matt and layered with red card and the personalised sentiment is cut out using Tonic dies. I have layered this with foam pads for depth to act as  the stopper.

This is a 8x8in white card. The card is matt and layered with a dusky pink card. The Sue Wilson Striplet Eternal ring die is used for the background in purple card. The dress and flowers are Stamps by Chloe which are stamped and heat embossed. The personalised sentiment is cut out using Tonic dies. I completed the card with pearls and gems.

Celtic card

An 8x8in card folded to make an easel card. The top of the card is matt and layered with red and white card. and the bottom is matt and layered with red. I have used the Tonic Studios - Collectable Die Set- Celtic Dream - 184e for the elements. The large Celtic element on the base of the card acts as the stopper for the easel.
