Noel Christmas Tag

I have used a Die Sire Create a Card nesting die set. Because the die set is designed to make cards the one side doesn't cut but that is easy to solve I have just cut that side with a guillotine. I have used kraft card to cut the first layer and then parchment card for the next layer. I have used a Tonic Studios die for the sentiment and a Marianne die for the poinsettia. I inked the edges of all my elements before assembling my tag. I completed my tag with embellishments from my stash

Snowy scene Christmas card

I have used a 8x8in white card and folded panels for the sides of my card to allow me to add layers to my card. I have used various Marianne dies to create a scene. I have cut the buildings etc in white and added yellow card behind the windows. I  cut the santa and sleigh and snowflakes with Cheery Lynn dies. I assembled my card in layers including battery operated lights behind each layer. I have continued my scene with the following dies:

Oval - Presscut

Reindeer Christmas Tag

Like the other tags I have made I have used a Die Sire Create a Card nesting die set. I have used kraft card to cut the first layer and then parchment card for the next layer. I then die cut the poinsettia and the reindeer with Tattered Lace dies. I inked the edges of  all my elements before assembling my gift tag. I completed my tag with embellishments from my stash.

Gingerbread Man gift tag

I have used a Die Sire Create a Card nesting die set. Because the die set is designed to make cards the one side doesn't cut but that is easy to solve I have just cut that side with a guillotine. I have used kraft card to cut the first layer and then patterned paper to cut the next layer. I have die cut the numbers in kraft card using  Tattered Lace dies and the gingerbread man in kraft card using a Cheery Lynn die. I inked all the edges of my elements before assembling my tag. I punched a hole into my tag and completed it with embellishments from my stash. These are ideal to use up my scraps of card

Snowflake Christmas Card

I have used an 8x8in white card and matt and layered it with turquoise card then white card. On the white card I have made a background using a Stamps by Chloe stamp.

I have then cut scalloped circles using a Xcut nesting set in turquoise and white. On the white scalloped circle I have stamped the snowflake and heat embossed it with Wow powder. I have stamped the centre of the snowflake again and layered it on the top of the original. I have then added the snowflake embellishment from Stamps by Chloe with a glue gun. I completed my card with flat backed pearls and Tonic Nuvo drops.

Handbag birthday card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card, silver card and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card with a Sue Wilson Beaded Fanfare embossing folder.

I have used a Tonic Trellis circle die and cut the intricate element in silver card and then cut the background in pink.

I die cut the sentiment using a Tonic Studios

I made the bags using Sue Wilson dies. Again I cut the intricate element in silver card. I cut the background of the bags in white card with double sided adhesive sheet attached to them. I peeled off the other side of the adhesive sheet and then added the intricate design before adding Tonic Nuvo glitter. I embellished my card with flat backed gems and pearls.

I added the bags to my card using foam pads.

50th Birthday Card

 

I have printed some photographs of the recipients scooter and cut them out and added them to blue card. I have made a 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered the top and bottom with red card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card using an Embossalicious embossing folder. I die cut the larger circle with Go Kreate dies and then found suitable sizes in my die collection, including a Sue Wilson snow globe die. I assembled the circles and then added a 50 (cut with Marianne dies) and a Happy Birthday (cut with a Joy die). I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it. I attached that with foam pads so it will act as the stopper for the easel. I then added the scooter photographs. Finally, I completed my card with red stars that I cut with a punch.

Scooter 50th Birthday Card

A card for my sons to give my Brother-in-law for his 50th birthday next month.

I picked this Lili of the Valley image because he loves his own blue scooter,

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with blue card and then brown and white gingham card. I have cut strips with the same card along with tan card and attached them to my card blank. I have printed my image and coloured it with Sprectrum Noir pencils and then die cut it with a Tonic rectangle die. I added the image to blue and tan card. I attached the mounted image to my card blank. I have die cut the Happy Birthday with a Tonic die and the Uncle with a Sue Wilson die in blue and tan and while attaching them to my card I slightly offset them to create a drop shadow. I die cut the fancy square shape with a die from The Works and added the numbers that I cut with Marianne dies.  I completed my card with buttons from my stash.

Family Tree

A little something for my Brother-in-law for his 50th birthday next month. I wanted to give him something to keep as well as the money for a few pints because it is a milestone birthday.

I have matt and layered my background with red and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder.

I then die cut the tree using a die from a Xcut family tree die set and attached that to my background.
Next, I printed the family names and die cut them with the heart from the set. The butterflies I have added to the background have also been cut using a die from the set. I used punches to cut the leaves and the flowers that I have added to the tree. I printed out the family name and die cut it with a die from The Works and attached that to the tree,

I die cut the grass with a Memory Box die and added tiny flowers and rabbits that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I added some tiny gems before putting my completed project into the frame.

Wreath Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I rounded all the corners with a punch. I die cut  scalloped circle using a Xcut die from a nesting set. I then cut a white circle using a Tonic die. I then cut the wreath a few times to build it up and then added the poinsettia that I die cut with Tattered Lace dies. I added the Noel that I cut with a Tonic die. I then completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Stocking Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then white card. I added white embossed card to the bottom, I used a Crafts Too embossing folder. I added satin ribbon across the centre of my card. I die cut the stocking with a Sue Wilson die in red and put it onto white card and paper pieced with gold, red and green card. I added the completed die cut stocking to my card using foam pads and then added my die cut sentiment that I cut with a Crafts Too die. I then completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Fire scene Christmas Card

I have used an A3 piece of white card to make a gate fold card. I have covered the outside with spotty card from Anna Marie and the inside centre also with spotty card. I have also used patterned paper from Lidl or the inside of my card. I have cut a strip of white card and creased it before sticking it to flat to the bottom of the inside of my card. This is to resemble skirting. I have used the following die to create a scene. I then added the Welsh sentiment on bunting, Nadolig Llawen is Welsh for Merry Christmas

For the front I have cut two of the windows for each door and attached 2 of them to a piece of white card and cut around them leaving a border. I did this again for the other side then attached them to both sides of the gatefold.

I die cut the wreath three times with a Xcut die and the mistletoe and added them to the top of the door on one side so the card can be opened. I have added flat backed pearls on the front and the cupboard as handles.

I have die cut scalloped circles using Xcut dies from a nesting set in blue and white card. I cut the blue circle from the centre of the blue layer before sticking it to card to save card. I cut the circle with a Go Kreate die and then cut a fancy circle using an element from the Tonic Intrica Dotty Lace Doily die set. I cut the smaller  circle with a die also from this set and then cut into it using a scene die by Marianne. I attached yellow card behind the buildings. I then die cut a tree scene and separated the trees to add to my card. I cut stars using s punch and added them to the "sky". I die cut the tags using Sue Wilson dies and added the Welsh sentiment cut with a Tattered Lace die. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Christmas Train

I loved making this card. Something completely different to what I usually make. I'm going to send it to a little boy.

I have covered my 8x8in white card with Anna Marie red and white spotty card. I covered the bottom half with white card, I rounded all the corners with a punch. I then added gingham heart ribbon embellishment. I have die cut the sentiment using a Crafts Too die in green and red card and attached them to a white oval that I cut with a Presscut die. I slightly offset the sentiments when sticking them down to create a drop shadow. I have die cut the train using a Marianne die using red and green card. I die cut various dies for presents using Sue Wilson and X Cut dies to add to the train.

Drummer birthday card

I have used a topper from a Hunkydory Little Book for my son who is drummer. I have covered my 8x8in white card with red card. I have embossed two pieces of white card. with a folder I had free with a magazine. I used gilding wax to highlight musical elements on embossing. I die cut my personalised sentiment with a Presscut oval die and then cut the next size in the nesting set in gold to mount my sentiment. I have die cut a scalloped circle using a Xcut die and added the numbers that I cut with Tattered Lace dies. I cut the treble clef with a Cheery Lynn die.

Front Door Christmas Card

I enjoyed using the Crafters Companion embossing folder on Saturday so I couldn't wait to use it again. Here it is again this time for a home front door scene.

I have embossed tan card and inked over it with a black ink pad. I have matt and layered my A4 card with red card and then the tan card and white card. Part of the white card has been embossed and the bottom has been die cut with a Cheery Lynn die to create a snowy scene. 

I have die cut the following elements to create my scene:

Door - Memory Box

Window -  Memory Box

Curtains - Memory Box

Fence - Memory Box

Christmas Tree - Spellbinders

Lamp - Marianne

Snowflakes - Cheery Lynn

Wreath - Dovecraft

Number - Tattered Lace

Santa and Sleigh - Cheery Lynn

Snowman - Marianne

Small lamp - Marianne

Christmas Tree scene - Memory Box

After die cutting the elements it is simple to assemble the card using glue or double sided tape for the larger elements. I die cut three wreaths to layer them up and then added red Tonic Nuvo for berries and a bow. When the completed wreath was dry I added it to the door. I finally added Tonic Nuvo Glitter Accents to my project add a snowy effect.
