16th Birthday Pop Up Box

I made a box in white card and added the patterned paper to all the panels. I assembled the box using hi tack tape and then added the pieces of card across the centre of the box. I added strips of clear acetate to the pieces of card. I added appropriate elements to the acetate. I die cut the DAUGHTER and tag using Sue Wilson dies. I die cut the numbers with Marianne dies and the shape they are added to is cut with a die from The Works. I printed the images that I found on the internet and printed a personalised sentiment.

Fancy edge birthday card

This card will have a personalised sentiment when I have had the details.

I have used a Tonic die to cut the edge of a 8x8in white card. I have cut the flowers from the die in pink card to add to the fancy design.

I have matt and layered the front of the card with pink and then white card. I used the edge of the die to shape the layers before attaching them to my card. I embossed the white layer with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. The die cut shapes are cut using dies from a nesting set from The Works.

Wedding Exploding Box

A Wedding Cake Exploding Box.

This is my first attempt of an exploding box with a wedding cake.

It was easier than I expected

The measurements and instructions for the box is at my tutorials. I only did one layer of he box on this occasion to allow enough room for the cake and used plain card to cover the panels of my box.

I have used a template that I found on the internet and printed onto white card to make the cake,

I folded the template and glued with PVA. I used ribbon and a lace and pearl trim to decorate the cake.  I made the flowers using die cuts that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I embellished the flowers with flat backed pearls. I placed the embellishments on the edges and joins of the cake to make it look neater.

I attached the cake to the centre of box on top of a die cut scalloped circle. I used a Xcut die from a nesting set.

I printed personalised sentiments for each side of the box and cut them to fit and decorated them with the lace and pearl trim and the flowers to match the cake.

A birthday card for a friend

A basic card for a friend. I have used an image from a Hunkydory little book. I covered my 8x8in white card with green card and attached a strip of brown and white gingham card, I mounted the image onto red card and then attached it to the card. I die cut the sentiment using a Tonic die in black card. I completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch.

Another Bingo Birthday Card

I have made another card with a bingo theme.

I printed the personalised sentiment and then matt and layered my card with red and then white card with sentiment on top and white embossed card on the bottom. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I attached ribbon where the two different white finishes meet. I added red embellishments to the embossed background. I printed a bingo image and attached that to my and card and then completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch.

Golden wedding anniversary

I have made this card using the Tonic Memory Book dies. I die cut white and gold card. I die cut the heart using a Tonic die. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut die and used the next size in the nesting set to cut a gold oval to mount my sentiment. I added organza ribbon and some small hearts. I die cut a stand using a Tonic die

Bingo Birthday Card

A birthday card with a Bingo theme for a 70 year old Dad.

I have found some images and printed them and also printed a sentiment. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then white card with the sentiment and gingham card after distressing the edges. After cutting the images I distressed the edges and mounted one of the images onto red card. I die cut the circles in red and white and then added the numbers that I cut with Marianne dies. I cut some stars with a punch to complete my card.

Golden Wedding Anniversary card

A book card made with a Tattered Lace die set. I have die cut the elements in gold and white card alternatively. I have embossed the white elements with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I curved the elements with my rolling pin. I layered the elements on an A4 card with foam tape.  I have used a Sue Wilson die to cut the Congratulations to put down the centre. I have also used a Sue Wilson die on each side and added a 50 to one side and a personalised sentiment on the other side. I die cut the 50 using Tattered Lace dies. I added flowers and pearl embellishments with a glue gun. I added Tonic Nuvo drops and ribbon to complete my card.

Personalised New Grandson Card

A personalised card for the new Grandparents.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in card with blue and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders die from a nesting set. I have then used the next size in the nesting set to cut blue card to mount my sentiment. I have die cut the pram using a Marianne die. I have die cut the pram in blue and the chassis of the pram in silver mirror card. I attached the pram to my card and then completed it with flat backed pearl embellishments.

Fuschia card

I have made these fushia using a Cheery Lynn die. I have die cut the elements in purple and pink and manipulated the elements with an embossing tool. I have put stamens through the centre of the flowers and coloured the ends of the stamens with a pink marker. I had started making these flowers a couple of months ago for my Mother-in-law because she loved flowers. Unfortunately my Mother-in-law passed away before I had the opportunity to make a card with them for her. So I have made this card to take to the cemetery.

I have used a 5x7in card and cut an oval out with a Presscut die. I cut a purple piece of card to size and then cut an oval out of the purple card using a larger die out of the nesting set. I have added the flourish, die cut with a Cheery Lynn die and then attached the flowers to the flourish using my glue gun. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a die from The Works.

Personalised New Baby card

I have made an 8x8in white easel personalised new baby card. I have matt and layer the top and the bottom of my card with blue and then white embossed card on half of the top and bottom. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I  added hessian and lace ribbon with blue ribbon down the centre of the top and bottom of my card. I die cut the vest with bib and duck using Sue Wilson dies and added them to the top of my card. I die cut the large bib with a Marianne die and added SON to it that I cut with a Sue Wilson die. I attached this bib to my card using 3D foam pads so it will act as the stopper for the top of my card. I printed the sentiment with all the lovely details of the new arrival and die cut it with dies from a nesting set from The Works. I used various sizes in the nesting set so I could matt and layer the sentiments. I completed my card with flat backed pearls where the poppers would be on the vest

Work in progress

The first page of the guest book I am making for a wedding. I am using the Tonic Memory Book maker die. I have used patterned paper from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Perfectly Pink paper pad,  a tag die and a Bride & Groom die.

Dragon card

My son asked me to make a birthday card for one of his mates. He attends a Welsh medium school so the welsh sentiment dies by Tattered Lace are great but I wish they were bigger.

The Sweet Dixie  dragon die is also great. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and then green card. I have added a piece of embossed white card down the centre of my card and added ribbon down both sides of the embossing. I die cut circle in green and white using a Go Kreate die and a Tonic die and then added the red dragon. I die cut the sentiment and added it a banner cut with a Sue Wilson banner. I completed my card with stars that I have cut with a punch.

Deer card

I absolutely love working with this Marianne deer die. It is so so cute and always very popular. I have made a scene using lots of dies. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with beige and pink card, I curved all the corners with a punch. I created layers of green card and die cut the top of each layer with a grass die. I embossed white card and added that to the top of my card. I die cut a fence and added a layer of grass in front of the fence. I die cut three deer and attached them to my card amongst the grass. I die cut a tree to add at the top of my card. I added flowers to the tree and flowers amongst the grass.

Rugby birthday card

A birthday card I made for my sons to give their Grandpa for his birthday. I chose these dies because he loves rugby and the colour scheme because he supports Wales.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and then white card, I have cut red and white circles. I printed a sentiment and die cut it and attached that to the centre of my card. I die cut the figure using my new Tonic dressables dies. I cut the rugby ball, words and boots with Sweet Dixie dies. I cut the ball in white and black. I used the white die cut and paper pieced with the black elements. I paper pieced the boots using the black die cut and adding the elements from the white die cut. I cut the cup using a Marianne die in silver metallic card.

Gardening birthday card

A birthday card with a garden scene for my Father-in-law who loves his garden.

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered the top and the bottom of the card. On the top I have added blue on the top and green on the bottom. On the base of my card I have matt and layered the base of my card with green and then blue card.

I have used lots of dies, using my scraps to create a scene.

I have printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders die from nesting set. I then cut the next two sizes in the nesting in the same colours as my matt and layering. I mounted the sentiment and then added the element to my card with foam pads so it will act as the stopper for the easel.

I die cut a small circle and added a Dad die cut to the corner of the base of my card.

Bride place setting

The place setting for the bride. This is made using Create a Card dies. It was tricky because I wanted it to be like the guests place settings but tent fold and shaped on both sides so I had to cut part of the die and then reverse my machine and turn my die and do the same the other side being careful lining it up. After doing this I cut between the die cuts ends with my guillotine. I die cut the fancy element with a free die from a magazine and attached that to the place setting before adding the fancy embellishment.

A Mother's Day Card

This card is always popular when people ask me to make cards and so simple and easy to make. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with purple and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I die cut the shoes with a Tattered Lace die and attached them to my card. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die from a nesting set. I cut the next size in the set in purple to mount the sentiment. I die cut the flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die and then added these to my card before adding the sentiment. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Rainbow card

This is a card for my DT post over at movingalongwiththetimes.

I have been asked to make a card for an unicorn loving little girl. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with purple then pink card, rounding all the edges with a punch

I have used a picture from a Hunkydory Little Book and attached it to my card. I have cut a white piece of card to look like a cloud and attached that partly over the unicorn picture. I have die cut the large flower shapes with Xcut dies from a nesting set, I will add a personalised sentiment when I have the details. I have cut the ovals with presscut dies from a nesting set and added the number that I cut with a Marianne die. I have die cut the circles with Go Kreate dies and placed them to look like a rainbow shape, not in traditional colours but ones in same colour scheme as card. I have cut the small hearts and small flowers with punches and attached them to the background of my card.

Lion birthday card

This is my creation for challenge over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have been asked to make this for a little boy for his birthday. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with brown card and then wide strips of various animal print patterned paper. I have die cut the lion using a Tonic die in tan and brown and the crown in gold mirror card I have assembled the lion before attaching it to my card.
