72nd Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with Kraft card and then spotty card. I have printed the wording. I die cut the "E" with a circle die from a nesting set from The Works and mounted it onto a kraft card circle cut with the next size in the nesting set.  I die cut the wording with Sue Wilson banner dies and then mounted them onto kraft card banners. I die cut the age elements with Tonic dies. I assembled all the elements onto my card.

Mum Pop Up Box

 

I have made this box with a 30x15cm piece of white card.

I scored the card at 7cm, 14cm and 28cm

I scored the width of the card at 7cm

I used the 2xm at the end of the card as a glue tab. On the top of the box I cut the 2cm of card away.

I cut strips of card at 9cm long and scored them at 1cm on each side and used these as glue tabs. I attached them to the inside of the box. I covered the panels with spotty paper.  I added the detail to acetate to attach them to the strips.

Birthday Card

 

My son sent me a photo and asked me to make a personalised birthday card for his friends Mam.

I have covered my A4 card with red and white spotty card. I printed the photograph and then die cut it with a scalloped circle Xcut die from a nesting set. I used the next size in the nesting set to cut a black scalloped circle to mount the photograph before attaching it to my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set and then cut a black oval to mount the sentiment before attaching it to my card. I completed my card with die cut daffodils.

13th Birthday Card

 

I have finally been asked to make some cards. I have been building up my stash of handmade cards so much I have been waiting to be asked to make particular ones for somebody.

I have matt and layered my card with red glitter card then black and white spotty card. I added satin ribbon across my card. I mounted the image from a Hunkydory book onto black card and then added it to my card with foam pads. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate die from a nesting set and mounted it onto a red scalloped oval cut with the next size up in the set. I die cut the numbers using Marianne dies and added them to the shape cut with a die from a nesting set from The Works and then attached them to my card.

Heart Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in card with black and then pink embossed card. I embossed the pink card using a Xcut embossing folder. I die cut the heart dies using the black and pink card. I printed the sentiment and die cut it with the banner die by Sue Wilson. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops on the embossed background and the heart.

Flower Shop

This is my creation for the challenges over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

After seeing recent projects made with a new die set I decided to give it a go with dies I already have and my scoreboard

I have made a rectangular box using my scoreboard. I scored the three sides to make a "counter" and left the back straight. I added the gingham card to the back. The pink die cut shape will include a sentiment along with the sign. I cut the trellis using a Cheery Lynn die and added it to the front and side of the box. I cut the wheelbarrow and watering can using Lea'bilities dies. I added the fence and grass along the front and sides of the box and then added small flowers. I die cut a border and added it to the edge of the "counter" I added the die cut fork and spade and made a bunch of flowers with a circle scored and folded and used pieces of the grass to be stems and finally added flowers. This card will fold flat to fit into an envelope.
