C.A.S Chirstmas Card

This is a quick card to make. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and white embossed card, I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I die cut the Joy to the World die with a Sue Wilson die and put it onto plain white card. I stuck that onto the embossed background at an angle. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Snowy Scene Christmas Card

I have used an 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered with blue pearlised card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I die cut a scalloped circle in white using a Xcut die. I used circular Tonic dies from the Dotty Lace set and Trellis set. I cut the scene into the white circle and added die cut tress. I die cut the scene in yellow to enable me to use the "waste" to add the yellow in the windows and doors. I cut stars with a punch to add to the sky. I completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Purple and Yellow Best Wishes Card

I have printed a digi image and coloured it with Spectrum Noir pencils. I have die cut it with a Go Kreate die. I have covered my 8x8in white card with gingham card from Anna Marie. I have cut a strip of yellow card and purple satin ribbon and attached that going down the card. I die cut the flowers using Leanne Creatief dies and embellished them with buttons from my stash. I die cut the tag using a Joy die and then added the sentiment.

A4 new home card

                         Another new home card made for a friend to give a colleague.

I have matt and layered my A4 card with red and white card, and partly beige card. I have die cut various elements to make a house layout. I have die cut the door, window, window box, curtains, fence, grass and branch with Memory Box dies. I have die cut the tiny flowers with a Cheery Lynn die and added them to the window box with some grass, I also added the flowers to the grass and branch. I die cut the lamp with a Marianne die. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut with a Go Kreate die and die cut the next size in the nesting set in red to mount the sentiment. I also personalised the card with the recipients new house number on the door, I have die cut these with Tattered Lace dies. I printed the name of the house and cut it to fit the plaque on the lamp, I shaped the corners with a punch before sticking it down. I completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Jingle Bells Christmas Card

This my card for my Guest Designer post at digichoosday.

I have used a design sheet from Winnie Winterland. I cut the image of the wreath with bell out and cut the poinsetta. I die cut the trellis with a Tonic die, I used the patterned paper and cut pieces and mounted them. I die cut the scalloped oval with a Go Kreate and glued the Jingle Bells sentiment to it (cut with a Tonic die) 

I matt and layered my 8x8in card and then assembled all the elements and then completed the card with flat backed pearls and Tonic Nuvo drops.

Birthday card

A birthday card made from a Hunkydory set. I have covered the 8x8in white card with patterned paper. I used to pink card to mount the image, I shaped the edges of the rectangle with a punch. I have die cut the flowers with an Xcut nesting set, I added an element from the set. I die cut the sentiment with a Tonic Studios die and added it to a white scalloped heart cut the a Sizzix die. I completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Engagement card

I have made an easel card with an 8x8in white card, I folded the top of the card in half and used the Tonic die to cut into the top. I matt and layered the bottom and the two top sections with pink card and then white embossed card, I embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions folder. I die cut the hearts on the top of the card with a Spellbinders die. The bottom of the card has hearts cut with Sizzix dies. The couple and flourish have been cut with Cheery Lynn dies. The white hearts will include personalised sentiments when I have been given details. I have decorated the scalloped heart with flat backed pearls.

New baby card

This is an 8x8in white card. I have cut the front in half. The toppers and patterned paper are by Hunkydory. I trimmed the patterned paper to fit the inside and front. I die cut some rectangles with Tonic Studios dies from a nesting set, I attached rectangles to the front with half overhanging the front. I cut exactly the same size rectangles to attach to the back, I attached toppers to these rectangles. I did the same with smaller rectangles on the inside of the card. I cut the rattle and dummy with Sue Wilson dies

Poinsettia Easel Card

An easel card made with a 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered the top with red card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I have die cut the lattice with a Cheery Lynn die and backed it with white card. I have die cut a scalloped oval with a Go Kreate die and added the Merry Christmas which was cut with a Crafts Too die. I covered the bottom of the card with red card. I die cut the rectangles with a Tonic Studio nesting set. Closer to Christmas I will add a personalised  sentiment. I have die cut the flourish with a Cheery Lynn die and the poinsettia with Sue Wilson dies. I completed my card with flat backed pearls and Tonic Nuvo drops.

Christmas Card with Polkadoodles

This is my card for the challenge over at https://digichoosday.blogspot.co.uk/. I have used a Polkadoodles image and coloured it with Spectrum Noir pencils. I then die cut the image with a Tonic die and layered it on a red circle. I have used red card and Polkadoodles papers to cover my card. I die cut a tag using a Joy die and then added the die cut sentiment. I die cut the holly corners using a Cheery Lynn die.I completed my card with red satin ribbon and red Tonic Nuvo as the "berries"

Box for advent calendar

I have decided to make an advent calendar. One box down 23 to go!!

I have used a Tonic Studios Diamond Favour Squeeze Box die. The tiny gingerbread men are cut with a die from a gingerbread house Xcut die. The number is cut with a Tattered Lace die and the tiny oval is from a Presscut nesting set.  

Nativity Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with brown card and white embossed card. I embossed the card with a Sue Wilson beaded fanfare embossing folder, I cut the nativity elements out using Britannia dies. I have die cut the scalloped ovals with Go Kreate dies. The white oval will include a personalised sentiment closer to Christmas when I decide who the recipient is.

Golden Wedding Anniversary Card

These cards are always popular for very special occasions, I had a request to make one for somebody to give friends for their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

I have made the card with a Tattered Lace essentials book die, Using gold and white card, I have embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder, I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die and mounted it on a gold scalloped oval, cut with the next size in the nesting set. I cut the same size scalloped ovals for the opposite side of the book and die cut the numbers with Tattered Lace dies. I die cut the Congratulation with a Sue Wilson die, I completed the card with flowers, a stick pin, organza ribbon and Tonic Nuvo drops.

I made the box using a Crafters Companion Big Score, I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle die and mounted it on a gold scalloped circle. I completed the box with flowers and Tonic Nuvo drops.

CAS Wedding Card

This card is for my DT post over at Moving Along With The Times

This card is very unusual for me. But I had a request to make a wedding card that followed the theme of the wedding invitation.

The card is simply matt and layered with brown and white card. The white card has the sentiment printed. I have printed the bride and grooms initials and die cut them with a Sizzix die. I die cut the tree using a Memory Box die and added the die cut heart to it. I have die cut a bird house and bird using Marianne dies.

50th birthday card

I have used a white 8x8in card. I have cut into the side of the card with a Tonic Studios Entwining Trellis Radiant Roselily die. I have matt and layered with purple and white card. I have cut the edge of these layers with the same die. I then embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace die. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval. I then cut the next size in the nesting set in purple to layer the sentiment. I cut the flowers from the Tonic die in purple and completed them with flat backed pearls. I then completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Jingle Bells Christmas Card

An 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered the top and bottom with red and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I have used an embossing folder I had free with a magazine to emboss white card to resemble manuscript, I used gilding wax to highlight areas. I used narrow ribbon to put around the "manuscript" and added a bow. I die cut the Jingle Bells with a Tonic Studios die in red and gold and slightly off set them when sticking them down. I die cut the poinsettia with Marianne dies and added little bells in the centre. I used a Tonic Studios nesting rectangle set to cut rectangles in red and gold and used them to  act of the stopper for the easel. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a rectangle from the nesting set and added that to the stopper. I completed my card with red Tonic Nuvo drops.

Pretty Cousin Birthday Card

I have matt and layered an 8x8in white card with purple then white embossed card. I have used a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I have used the Sue Wilson Eternal Ring die to cut the square in the centre. I cut the die three times. The die is easy to line up. I backed the die cut piece onto a plain piece of card. I have stamped and embossed the dress and flowers using Stamps by Chloe. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die and die cut the next size in the nesting set to mount the sentiment. I completed the card with flat backed pearls and Tonic Nuvo drops.

Giraffe Card

I had a strange request today, a birthday card with a giraffe.

I found an image online and printed it and printed a personalised sentiment. I cut the image and sentiment with Tonic rectangle dies. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with yellow card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I completed the card with stars cut with a punch.

First card published in a magazine

I picked up my copy of Making Cards today. It is the very first time I have had one of my cards published

It was the star card too!!

Niece Birthday Card

I have coloured a My Bestie image with Spectrum Noir pencils. I have die cut my coloured image with a Xcut scalloped circle die. I have then cut the next size in the nesting set of scalloped circles in purple card to layer my image. I have covered my card with gingham card from Anna Marie. I then attached my purple scalloped circle and then my image. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Joy tag die. I chose some floral embellishments from my stash. The roses are from The Range and the other embellishments are from Anna Marie. I attached these with my glue gun. I then completed my card with Tonic Nuvo glitter drops.

Bike Birthday Card

A very basic card. Our nephew is 14 tomorrow and he loves his bike. So I have used this image from a Hunky Dory book. I have covered my 8x8in card with red card then part of the card with green and white gingham card by Anna Marie. I have used satin ribbon, I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic die and then cut the next sizes in the nesting set in red and green to layer the sentiment.
