Nativity DL Card

 

I have used a die from the Crafters Companion collection. I have matt and layered my DL card with burgundy and then embossed gold mirror card. I die cut the nativity element in gold mirror card and then paper pieced the die cut. I completed my card with a sentiment by Sue Wilson.

Foiled Birthday Card

I have used my Gemini foiling machine to make this card. I have used a 7x7in white card. I cut 2/3 of the card off the front. I cut this piece in half and then added acetate to the centre of the front of my card before adding the 1/3 of the card at the bottom.

I matt and layered the panels of my card with pink card and then white foiled card. I foiled the sentiment and then die cut the sentiment with a die from a Spellbinders nesting set. I attached this to the centre of my card with red liner tape. I cut the same shape in white card and attached it the back of the acetate for a neater finish. Finally I added flat backed pearls and a satin ribbon bow.

Crackers

 

I have made these crackers using a Tonic die set. I die cut the main element in kraft card. I cut the other elements to add to the crackers using paper from a paper pad. I inked all the edges before attaching them to my crackers, I die cut the gold poinsettia using a Tattered Lace die set. I embellished my cracker with various elements including moss, pearls and ribbon

Poinsettia DL Card

 

Another simple DL Christmas. I am trying to use up some of my stash.

I covered my DL card with gold card and patterned paper. I added a sentiment that I cut with a Sue Wilson die and then completed my card with some gems.

DL Christmas Card

I have covered my card with patterned paper. I die cut the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and added it to the ovals cut with Presscut dies. I attached a narrow strip of card across my card then added red satin ribbon. I added the sentiment to my card along with a poinsettia cut with a Tattered Lace die.

Nativity Scene Christmas Card

I have used the new Nativity dies from Crafters Companion for this creation. I have scored pieces of card to make the "pillars". The height of the pillars are 6in, 4in and 3in. I cut the pieces of card at 5in. I scored the card at every inch, folded them and attached gold mirror card to 4 of the 5 panels. I secured the last panel with red liner tape. I die cut the nativity elements using white card and attached them to all the layers of my creation. I cut the nativity elements in black card and attached them to my card using a drop shadow effect.

Motorbike birthday card

 

I have matt and layer my 8x8in white card with kraft card and white embossed card. I have distressed and inked all the edges. I added ribbon down my card. The topper I used is from a Hunkydory little book. I mounted the topper with red card before attaching it to my card. I die cut a circle and distressed and inked it and my sentiment to it before adding to my card. I completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

This is a different style card to what I usually make, I thought I would try something like this because I send a few of my Christmas cards to single male recipients.

I have used a cream DL card and matt and layered it with red card and then patterned paper. I added satin ribbon down my card. I die cut the stars with Tonic dies, the poinsettia with Marianne dies and the star flourishes with a Sue Wilson. I assembled these onto my card using hot glue. I die cut the sentiment using a Sue Wilson die and added it to a cream die cut before attaching it to my card.

Cute Christmas Card

Post Box scene Christmas Card

I have made an A4 white card. I matt and layered it with red card and then white embossed card. I mounted the napkin by Anna Marie onto red card before attaching it to my card blank..

I die cut the ovals with dies from a Presscut nesting set and added the sentiment die cut with an Elizabeth craft designs die. I attached this to my card along with poinsettia that I cut with Marianne dies. I completed my card with gems on the poinsettia.

Snowy Christmas Card

                                        

This is an 8x8in easel card. I added white and blue card as a background. For the sides of my card I used the same technique as I do for my Memory Books. I die cut the elements using Marianne dies in white card and added yellow acetate to the windows.  I attached the layers on the "spines" on both sides. I added foam pads behind some of the layers. I covered the sides with strips of white that I had scored. The sentiment is cut using a Sue Wilson die and added on the top of my card along with snowflakes that I cut with a punch. I matt and layered the base of my card with yellow and white card. I die cut the elements for a personalised sentiment to be added at a later date with Spellbinders dies. I added some trees on the base cut with Marianne dies. I completed the scenery with Tonic Nuvo crystal glaze. Finally I added acetate over the scenery and added satin ribbon down the sides.

Mr and Mrs Claus

This is my August DT post for craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have made a 8x8in square card and matt and layered it with red card and white embossed card on the bottom then red and white gingham on the top. The satin ribbon is added across my card where the two top layers meet.  I added Mr & Mrs Claus that I cut with a Tonic die side. I completed my card with a die cut sentiment and Tonic Nuvo drops.
