Bauble Christmas Card

This card is for my DT post over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper.

I have matt and layered the top and bottom of my 8x8in white easel card with red tartan and plain red card and added red satin ribbon down the card where the two card meet.  I have die cut the baubles using a Spellbinders nesting set. I embossed the baubles using a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I attached the baubles to my card and added narrow gold ribbon at the top of the baubles. I die cut the poinsettia using Tattered Lace dies. I added a strip of card on the bottom and ovals that will include personalised sentiments. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

New Baby Memory Book

I made this Baby Record Book with the Tonic Memory Book dies. I loved making this.

Christmas Exploding Box

I have made my first Christmas exploding box. You will find the instructions to make the base of my box on the tutorials page of my blog.

I have covered all the panels, back and front with patterned paper from a book from The Range. I have used various dies to cut elements to put on all the panels. I attached the present (which is also from The Range) in the centre with hot glue.

Birthday Card

I have been quiet on here for a few days because I have been working on a bigger project that I will share with you soon. I had to make this quick make to get it in the post.

I have matt and layered my card 8x8 white card with turquoise and then white card. I have die cut the valance and trellis using Cheery Lynn dies and then printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set, I die cut the next size in the nesting set to mount my sentiment. I attached the ovals to my card and then a "Me To You" topper and gems.

Fishing Birthday Card

Hounds Birthday Card

A birthday card for a friend. I have covered my 8x8in white card with brown card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I added burlap and then my image. I die cut a personalised sentiment using a Presscut die from a nesting set. I die cut the next sizes in the nesting set in tan and brown to mount my sentiment before adding it to my card.

Parchment pieces

I have been doing some parchment today. I want to add these to a new baby project I am working on

Dog Birthday Card

I have been asked to make a birthday for my son's girlfriend to give her Mam. She wanted a photograph of their dog on it.

I wouldn't normally do a card for a lady in black and platinum but I liked the colours with the black and white photograph. I printed the photograph and a sentiment. I matt and layered my 8x8in card with black and platinum card then matt and layered the photograph. I die cut the sentiment with a die set from The Works. I assembled the elements onto my card and finally added a small die cut heart.

Box for card from a previous post

I have been busy making a box today to go with this card from an earlier post.

I used the same Anna Marie gingham card and pink card to cover the box and then embellished the box.with the same ribbons and die cut a tag using  a Marianne die

Wedding Anniversary

I have made the card for my husband, our Wedding Anniversary is tomorrow.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then white card.  I printed a personalised sentiment on the white card before cutting it to size. I embossed red card and attached it down the side of my card and then added the satin ribbon at the end of the red card. I then attached three white ovals that I cut with a Crafts Too die. I attached three different love die cuts onto these ovals.

Gift Bag

I am enjoying making gift bags and boxes at the moment. I'm using up my stash and having a change from making cards.

I have used elements from an old  Kanban set for this bag. I have covered the bag with patterned paper and then added the coordinating embellishment. I die cut the pierced flags using Sue Wilson dies and added the die cut sentiment that I cut with a Tattered Lace die.

Gift Box

I have made this box using the Tonic Octagon Kaleidoscope Dies. I used gold card and red mirror card and completed the box sides with flat backed pearls. I added die cut poinsettia to the top of the box that I cut with Marianne dies. I also added star sprigs that I cut with a Sue Wilson die.

I am making a New Baby Record Book with Tonic Memory Book dies

1st Christmas Tree Decoration

I have covered a MDF bauble shape with Anna Marie spotty paper. I attached tiny pompon around the edge of the bauble and then a heart time around the front and back of the bauble. I die cut the gingerbread girl with a Cheery Lynn die in tan card and attached a small piece of black card behind the eyes and red card behind the little hearts before attaching the gingerbread girl to the bauble. I die cut the Merry Christmas with Dovecraft dies and the 1st with Tattered Lace dies. I completed my decoration with red ribbon.

Bauble Christmas card

I have made this card prepared for personalisation.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and then gold embossed card. I embossed the gold card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I rounded the corners of these layers with a punch

I have die cut the baubles using a Spellbinders nesting set. I embossed the baubles with a Sue Wilson embossing folder. I die cut the poinsettia with a Marianne die. I embellished the baubles with a ribbon and a fancy embellishments from Chloes Creative Card. I die cut the scalloped ovals with Crafts Too dies. Closer to Christmas I will print a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped oval die and put it in the place of the white oval on the card. I completed my card with a pearl embellishment on the poinsettia and Tonic Nuvo drops.

Personalised Anniversary card

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with silver mirror card, navy card and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I attached ribbon across my card and that attached some lace and pearl embellishment through the centre of the ribbon. I used a nesting set of dies from The Works and firstly die cut the larger size in the silver mirror card, the next size in navy. I die cut the flourishes with Cheery Lynn large and small dies. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with the next size in the nesting set. I attached the flourishes around the sentiment. I attached the larger flourish on the ribbon before adding the other embellishments with my glue gun. I have added flowers then pearls on string and pearl pins between the flowers.

Light up Lantern

I have used a Tonic die to make this lantern.

I cut all the elements and attached red acetate to the back of the die cut sections. I assembled the lantern using red liner tape. Before attaching the base I die cut a small circle from the base. 

I have used two battery operated white tea lights. I glued them together and then attached a band of card around them using hot glue to hold them together making sure the switches are as close together as possible. I attached these battery operated tea lights to the inside of my lantern using hot glue with the switches protruding through the die cut circle on the base to allow the tea lights to be turned on and off easily.

To complete the lantern I attached a pretty embellishment on each side.

Wedding Card

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I matt and layered the top and bottom with pink and white embossed card. I die cut the valance in pink using a Cheery Lynn die twice to add to the top of my card. I cut the lattice in pink and mounted it onto plain white card. I attached this to the top of my card using foam pads. I die cut the heart using a Tonic die. I cut the design in pink and the plain heart background in white and stuck these together before attaching it to the lattice.

I die cut the rectangles for the bottom of my card using dies from a Tonic nesting die set. I die cut the sentiment using a Sue Wilson die. I assembled these elements with glue and then attached them to the base of my card using foam pads so they will act as a stopper for easel.

Wedding Card

I have been asked to make this wedding card ASAP.

I have made a white 8x8in easel card. I matt and layered the top and bottom with pink and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut the eternal ring strip detail with a Sue Wilson die 3 times in pink card and then attached them next to each other on a piece of plain white card. I attached satin ribbon where the strips meet. I die cut the ovals using dies from a Presscut nesting set and added the "Wedding Day" that I cut with a Tonic die and then attached the ovals to the eternal ring design. I made the flowers using dies from the Sara Davies Rustic Wedding Collection. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic rectangle die and mounted it onto a pink rectangle and then attached that to my card with foam pads so it will act as a stopper for the easel. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo Drops.

I made a box using my score board and matt and layered the panels with pink and white embossed card. I added the die cut circles that I cut with Xcut dies and then the tag which I have left blank so it can be handwritten on.

Little girl birthday card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I coloured a My Bestie image with Spectrum Noir pencils. I die cut the image using a rectangular die from a Tonic nesting set. I cut a pink rectangle using the next size up in the nesting set and used this to mount my image. I die cut the fence and grass with Memory Box dies and then attached them to the bottom of my card. I added the tiny flowers that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I attached the branch to the top of my card and used a punch to cut leaves and a Cheery Lynn die to cut the flowers that are added to the branch. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut with a Marianne tag die and attached some ribbon before adding it to my card.

Deer birthday card

I have matt and layered my white 8x8in card with tan and pink card. I covered the top of my card with white embossed card then added layers of green card that I cut with a die to create grass. I die cut a fence to add along the bottom of my card. I assembled 3 deer and then attached them to my card amongst the grass. I die cut the tree and added it to the top of my card and attached tiny flowers to it. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Xcut die. I added flowers that I cut with a punch. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

I finally have new plates for my die cutting machine. It has been driving nuts without them because meant very limited crafting.
