18th birthday key card

A 8x8in white scalloped edged card.  I have matt and layered my card with pink and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle die, I cut the next size in the nesting set in pink to layer the sentiment. I used a 18 key and decorated it with ribbon and flowers from my stash. I attached the key to my card with my glue gun. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

New Baby Girl Card

I have matt and layered half of my 8x8in white card with pink and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious folder. The other side of my card is plain pink card. I have put satin pink ribbon down the join along with a pearl slider embellishment. I have die cut a pram with a Marianne die with pink and mirror card. I have embellished the pram with pearls. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped oval from a Go Kreate nesting set. I have die cut the next size in the set in pink to layer the sentiment I embellished this oval the flat backed pearls.

Grandpa rugby Father's Day card

A Father's Day card for my sons to give their Grandpa. I have used a 8x8in white card and covered it with gingham paper from Anna Marie. I have used a topper from a Hunky Topper pad. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with an oval die. I have die cut the next size up in nesting set in green to layer the sentiment. I have die cut the rugby ball and "scrum" and "try" with Sweet Dixie dies to embellish my card.

Footy Father's Day card

Another Father's Day card. I have used a topper from a Hunky Dory pad. I am finding these very useful for male cards. I find making male cards much more difficult than female cards. These toppers are great especially if the man has an interest. 

This is a 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered it with red card and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card with an Embossalicious folder. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with an oval die and die cut the next size in the nesting set in  red to layer the sentiment. I added the topper to the card. I completed my card with red stars which I cut using a punch.

Father's day card for my husband

A Father's Day card for my husband. I have used a photograph of our gorgeous 10 week old puppy.

She is a stunning English Springer Spaniel called Jess.

I have printed the photo and layered it on brown card, I covered the front of my 8x8in white card with tan card. I used a strip of brown embossed card (using Embossalicious embossing folder). I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Sizzix scalloped heart die. I die cut the next size in the nesting set in brown to layer the sentiment. Husband Father's Day Card

A very basic card I put together quickly for my Mother-in-law  because cards we were looking at today were very expensive and pathetic.

I used a 8x8in white card with tan card. I used a topper from a Hunky Dory pad. I layered the topper on green card. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with an oval die and die cut the next sizes in the oval set in tan and green card. I die cut a watering can in mirror card to add to my card.

Golfer Father's Day Card

A Father's Day card for a golfer. I have used a 8x8in white card. I have used blue and tan card and Creative Expressions stripey ribbon for the base of the card. Personalised Graduation Card

I have used a 8x8in white card. The colours of the recipients sash is red so I have incorporated red in the card. I have used Anna Marie spotty card. I have used a Signature die to cut the graduation gown and accessories. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate die. I have cut the larger sizes in the set of Go Kreate dies to layer the sentiment. I assembled my card then I have cut stars with a punch and glued them on to complete my card.

Handbag and Shoe card

An A4 easel card. I have matt and layered the top and bottom with pink and white embossed card. I have die cut two shoes and a matching handbag. I have used a Tonic die to cut the centre of the top and Tattered Lace dies to  cut the numbers and today. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic die and used the next size in the set to cut a pink rectangle to act as the stopper for the easel. I have used a Tonic die to cut the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Girlfriend birthday card

A scalloped 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered the card with red card then white card. I have used an image from the Love Hunky Dory Little book. On the bottom of the card I have put red embossed card, I have used a dotty Embossalicious dotty folder. I have mounted  the image on gold card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Sizzix scalloped heart die. I cut the next size scalloped heart from the nesting set in red to mount the sentiment. I die cut the heart locket and key using Spellbinders dies. I cut the heart using a Fiskars punch. I like to pick elements of the images to incorporate my dies. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Birthday card for cyclist

This card is for my DT post over at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper

A birthday card for one of my sons mates. Both of my sons have milestone birthdays this year so  I'm making cards for all their friends too. They love giving them handmade cards.

My eldest son goes cycling with a few friends so he picked this image from a Hunkydory pad. I covered my 8x8in card with gingham card from Anna Marie. I cut the circle using two dies from a Go Kreate set. I cut the sentiment using a Tonic die and the numbers using Marianne dies. I assembled my card and completed it with two buttons from my stash.

Penblwydd Hapus card

I'm so proud to be Welsh and think my sons have a real talent to be fluent Welsh speakers. These dies are great for a Welsh recipient. My sons send Welsh language cards so this sentiment die is fantastic.

I have used a white A4 card. I have cut an orange piece of card to cover the card. I cut into the orange card using a die from the Tonic Studios Celtic Dream set. I then used the square die from the set to make a bigger square. I cut a white panel to stick down the centre of the card then added the die cut square. I cut a small scalloped oval and added that to the centre with the Penblwydd Happus (Happy Birthday) cut using a Tattered Lace die.I added a daffodil cut using a Lea'bilities die. I made a small box to stick on the side of the card, I will use this for a small gift

18th Birthday Card

This card is for my post for the challenge over at Moving Along With The Times. The theme is age related sentiment.

I decided to make a 18th birthday card

I have used an A4 card and folded the front of the card in half to create a landscape easel card. I have used pink and white card to matt and layer the card. I have die cut the elements using pink card. I have used a Tonic die to cut the centre. I have cut 18 today using Tattered Lace dies in white to place in the centre. I have die cut two glasses using the Britannia party glass die. I have cut the bottle using a Tattered Lace die. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a rectangular Tonic die from a nesting set and cut the next size in pink to layer it. I die cut the Happy Birthday with a Tonic die. I assembled my card. I used foam pads on the rectangles for them to act as he stopper for the easel.

Reindeer names Christmas card

I decided to make Christmas cards today. I always say I'm going to start earlier, I did start earlier this year but I haven't made many. This year is flying by!!

 I love this spotty paper from Anna Marie. She was in the show at Cardiff on the weekend she had so many beautiful projects on display.

I used a 8x8in card. I rounded the corners with a punch. I covered the card with the spotty paper. I die cut the reindeer name die by Sizzix in red card. I glued the die cut onto white card. I glued that onto the spotty background at an angle. I will add my personalised sentiment in the heart at a later date. I die cut a reindeer in brown card.

Girlfriend card

The order I had to make today. I love this heart by Tattered Lace and it is always popular with other people.

This is a 8x8in white card.I have matt and layered it with pink card and white card. The white card on the bottom of the card has been embossed with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I have also used the Tattered Lace narrow embossing folder to emboss white card to put across the card. This card has just the right space for ribbon, so I have added pink satin ribbon. I assembled my card and completed it with flat backed pearls.

Daddy birthday card

A Daddy birthday card for my Husband. I have used a fishing image from a Hunky Dory pad. I have embossed blue card with the Embossalcious picnic plaid folder. I layered the image on orange card. Birthday card for my fishing mad husband!!

A personalised birthday card for my supportive and very special husband. He absolutely loves fishing so this topper from Hunkydorys Gentleman's Journey pad is ideal. I have used gingham paper from Anna Marie to cover my 8x8in white card. I added a strip of brown card up the centre of the card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with an oval die. I assembled my card using double sided tape and completed it with a fishing embellishment from my stash.

Engagement Card

An engagement card I have made ready for personalisation. This is a 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered the top and the bottom with red and white card. I have cut two valance with a Cheery Lynn die. I have die cut a trellis in red and white using a Cheery Lynn die. I have die cut the couple in red and navy again with a Cheery Lynn die. I have cut the man off the navy couple and stuck it over the man on the red couple. I have stuck the red trellis on the card and then the white trellis on top slightly off setting them. I have decorated them with flat backed pearls. On the bottom of the card I have added a flourish cut with a Cheery Lynn die then a scalloped heart cut with a Sizzix die. The white heart will include a personalised sentiment. I will stick the white heart with foam pads so it with act as a stopper for the easel.

Ruby Wedding Anniversary Card

A 40th wedding anniversary card made for friends. I have used the Tattered Lace essentials book die. I have used red and white card alternatively. I have embossed the white pages with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I have attached the pages onto a A4 card. I curved the pages around a rolling pin, I then stuck them down with double sided tape in the centre and foam pads on the ends. I have cut two red scalloped ovals using a Go Kreate die from a nesting set and two flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped oval, I also cut another white oval for the opposite side and added the numbers which have been cut using Tattered Lace dies. I cut the bookmark in red and white and embossed the white. I attached them to the centre of the pages and then added a congratulations sentiment. I assembled all these elements and then added flowers from my stash and handmade stick pins using Pinflair. I completed my card with Nuvo drops from Tonic and ribbon

Wedding Invitation

A  simple wedding invitation but it is what the customer ordered. A 4x4in white card that I have matt and layered with red card and then white card with personalised printed details. I have then attached satin ribbon and a heart embellishment.

My Groovi project

       

I have used the butterfly wreath to do the image. I then went on to the border die (from border 1&2 set) and worked my way around my image. Inside each semi circle of the border I did a dot. I coloured the image using my Spectrum Noir pencils. Now for the harder element.............

Silver Wedding Anniversary Card

A personalised silver wedding anniversary card I have had ordered. A 8s8in white easel card. I have used a Tonic header die  to cut into the top. I have matt and layered both sides of the top and the bottom with silver card and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card using a Creative Expression folder. For the top I have die cut the Spellbinders heart in silver and white and cut a personalised sentiment with a die from a Sizzix nesting set. On the bottom I have printed a sentiment and cut it with a bigger heart from the Sizzix nestin set and layered it on a bigger heart cut in silver. I have cut the flourish and couple using Cheery Lynn dies. After assembling my card I added flat backed pearls to complete it.
