Pretty Blossom Shoe

A blossom shoe image coloured with Spectrum Noir pencils. I have made a 8x8in card. I matt and layered the card with pink and cut the coloured image with a scalloped circle from and Xcut extra large nesting set and also cut a pink scalloped circle. The mini flourish is by Cheery Lynn. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a xcut die. I have completed the card with flat backed pink pearls.

50th Birthday Card

This is an 8x8in white card matt and layered with a marbled effect purple card. The lattice is cut out using a Sue Wilson die. The dress is made using a Stamp by Chloe with Wow powder which is heat embossed. I have printed a personalised message which I have die cut with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die. I have embellished the card with flat blacked pearls.

Christmas Elf

Challenge time at Creative Moments Blog and the theme is wet/dry embossing. I have used the image, Candy Elf. The optional theme is embossing this fortnight. I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pencils. The lattice die is by Cheery Lynn which has been cut out in white and green. A Crafts Too die is used to cut the Merry Christmas.

Cute card

The image is from Hunky dory Little Book of Moments and Memories. I have cut an aperture out of the front of a 8x8in white card with a circular die.  I decorated around the aperture with felt flowers which have been cut with Tattered Lace dies. I completed the flowers by decorating them with buttons. The corners are die cut using a corner die from the  Tonic Celtic dream set

A very special occasion for my 100th post!!! An MBE!!

A neighbour has had an MBE!! I have never made a card for this before and a fair chance I will never make one again! Another neighbour told me on Tuesday and it took me until this morning to get my head around what I was going to put on the card.

Christmas stepper card

A stepper card made using a Presscut stepper card die. I have cut the card in white and the layering elements in red. The oval with the sentiment is cut out using a Crafts Too nesting die it is layered on a gold oval. I have used a Marianne die for the poinsettia I have used a flat backed pearl for the centre of the poinsettia.  The Noel is cut out using a Tonic, I have cut out in both red and gold. I have put the red as a shadow effect and the gold on top. Finally I embellished the white oval with red gems.

Christmas card with lamp

A 8x8in white card matt and layered with red and white card. For the top of the card I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious dotty folder to resemble snow. I have used a Die'sire post box die and a Signature Christmas lamp die to cut black, red and yellow card. The houses are part of the Marianne village collection. The snowflakes and Santa with reindeer are from Cheery Lynn dies. I have embellished the card with gems. The card will have a personalised sentiment on the white oval closer to Christmas when I decide who the card is for!

A gift for a baby

Toy Shop Christmas Card

Fireplace Christmas card

My first post for a few days. I have had a lovely long weekend away with my boys. Back to paper crafting today, I was knitting on the weekend.

This is a landscape A4 card. The card is matt and layered with red card then white card with a personalised sentiment. The edges have been rounded with a punch. High Top With Ribbon

I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Crafty Boots Challenges this month, Their challenge this month is Ribbon or Lace. This is my first opportunity to be a designer.

This is a white 8x8in card with patterned paper from a "Paper Stack". I have cut a circle with a Go Kreate die then embossed it.

I cut out a High Top with a Die-namics die in the patterned paper, yellow and white to co-ordinate with the card. I carefully thread ribbon through the holes so it looks like laces. The sentiment has been printed and cut out with a Sizzix heart die. The card had been completed with gems from my stash.

Floral Heart Birthday Card

I have been die cutting for a few years now but I have never tried cutting anything other than card. I thought I would experiment with felt.

An A4 landscape card matt and layered with purple card and white embossed card. The white card is embossed using a Xcut embossing folder. I used a Tattered Lace die set for the bigger flowers and a Cheery Lynn die for the smaller flowers. I embellished the flowers with buttons and the smaller flowers with flat backed pearls. I cut a template from two Sizzix heart dies to stick the flowers to. A sentiment is die cut with a Sizzix heart die and placed behind the floral heart.

The sentiment is die cut and layered with a Sizzix flower nesting die. This is embellished with flat back pearls.
