Alicia's Valentine's Card

 

I received Valentine's card off the little darlings that live next door. This is a card I made for the eldest, Alicia.

I have matt and layered the 6x6in white scalloped card with pink and white embossed card.  I added satin ribbon across the card. I die cut the heart using a Spellbinders set.  I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with an oval from a Presscut nesting set and mounted it onto a pink oval cut with the next size die in the nesting set. I attached these elements to my card with foam pads.

Valentine's card for Sophie

 

I received Valentine's card off the little darlings that live next door. This is the personalised card I made for the youngest. I matt and layered my scalloped 6x6in white card with red. then white embossed card and added satin ribbon down my card.   I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it a Sue Wilson banner die and mounted it onto a red banner. I die cut the LOVE with a die from The Works. I cut it in white and red and attached them to my card.

Card for a Cardiff City Fan

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with blue and then white card, I printed a sentiment onto the white card. I printed the images that I found online. I matt and layered the three images  before attaching them to my card. I completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch.

Personalised Birthday Card

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then gingham card. I distressed and inked all the edges. I used an Image from a Hunkydory book and mounted it onto red card and then attached it to my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped circle die from a Spellbinders nesting set and then cut a red circle with the next size die to mount the sentiment before attaching it to the card.  I completed the card with a couple of flower shaped buttons.

Birthday card

 

I have been asked to make a birthday card for a lady that likes rowing. I found the image in a Hunkydory big book. I have mounted the image onto red card. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and spotty card. I added the image. I die cut a printed personalised sentiment with a die from a Spellbinders nesting set and used the next size in the set to cut red card to mount the sentiment before adding it to my card. I die cut the flowers using a Lea'bilities die set. I completed my card with gems in the centre of the flowers.

Animal 2nd Birthday Card

I was asked to make a 2nd birthday card with animals. I used various dies from my stash to make the animals. I used Marianne Designs dies to make the deer, giraffe, monkey and elephant. The lion is cut using a Tonic die. I matt and layered my A4 card with kraft card and then yellow and white gingham card from Anna Marie. I inked all the edges before assembling the elements. I printed personalised sentiments and die cut them with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set and mounted onto a larger kraft card oval. The circles are cut using dies from a nesting set from The Works. The number is cut with a Tonic die.

Floral 40th Birthday Card

 

I have made an easel card with a circle cut out of the top with a large die. I cut a few rings using circular dies and glued them together  for a base to attach my flowers. I used Crafters Companion foam flowers collection to make my flowers and foliage. The sentiment is attached to a small piece of acetate, I used a Tonic die to cut the sentiment. I covered the base with red card and die cut the shapes that will include a personalised sentiment using Crafters Companion dies. I attached these to my card with foam pads so they will act as the stopper for my easel. The 40 today are cut with Tattered Lace dies.

40th Birthday Card To Be Personalised

This is a card for my darling nieces to give their Mum for her 40th birthday. I will add a personalised sentiment. I have covered my 8x8in white card with mirror card from Hobbycraft. I embossed the mirror card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut the bottle and glasses with dies from a Tonic set. I used a stamp from the same set for the "Est" and then added the banner that I cut with a Sue Wilson die along the with the numbers that I cut with Crafters Companion dies. I die cut the circle with a die from "The Works" and added the larger numbers that I cut with a Tonic die. I die cut the shapes for the sentiment using dies from a Spellbinders nesting set.

New Baby Boy Card

I have matt and layered the top and bottom of this card with blue and white embossed card.  I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder.  I added lace and ribbon down the centre of the top and bottom of  my card. I die cut the baby elements with Sue Wilson dies and added them to my card. I added the new baby's name onto the bib and using letters cut with a Xcut die.  I printed personalised sentiments and cut them with a Crafters Companion die and a Presscut die. I assembled the card and used foam pads for the bib on the bottom so the bib would act as a stopper for my easel card.

50th Birthday Exploding Box

 

This is my design team post over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have used a white piece of card and 28.5cm x 28.5cm. I scored the card at 9.5cm and 19cm on both sides resulting in 9 squares. I cut each corner square resulting in a + shape. I cut a scalloped circle with a die from a Xcut nesting set and attached it to a strip of card that I made into a hoop. I die cut the elements to make a paper bow using a Cheery Lynn die. I have cut the numbers using a Tonic die and attached them to the top of the cake using acetate. I covered all panels of the box with paper from a 12x12in pad from The Works. I added the die cut doily design, cut with a Xcut die before attaching the cake. I cut some plastic straws and covered them with paper and satin ribbon before attaching them to the base of my box. I added a strip of card between the straws and then added the bunting with the letters to spell "Happy". I added the "Birthday" on to the base of the box. I cut the letters using a Xcut die. I printed personalised sentiment and die cut them with dies from a oval Presscut nesting set and the sister is cut with a Sue Wilson die.

I made the lid using a 14x14in piece of white card and scored all sides at 2cm. I cut a small slit in the corners of the square and then stuck them together with P.V.A

A quick high top card

I needed to make a quick card for a neighbour today so I used a page from a Hunkydory book.

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red then black card. I then added spotty card on the top of my card. I added satin ribbon at the end of the spotty card. I attached the topper onto black card before adding it to my card blank. I die cut the sentiment with a Tonic die. I attached this to an oval that I cut with a die from a Presscut nesting set and then attached it to my card.

I added lace and satin ribbon where the white card meets the red. I used a page from a Hunkydory book  and added it to light blue card before attaching it to my card. I die cut a sentiment using a die from a Spellbinders nesting set. I used the next size die in the nesting set to cut red card  to mount the sentiment before attaching it to my card.

This was a simple quick make for my lovely friend that lost her cat yesterday.

Teddy Birthday Card

 

I have used a 6x6in kraft card and matt and layered it with mirror card and kraft card. I die cut the sentiment using a Tonic die and mirror card. the teddies are cut with another die by Tonic. I paper pieced the teddies with kraft card and mirror card. I used Tonic Nuvo drops for the teddies eyes.

Valentine's Card

 

My first Valentine's card for 2021

I have used a Sizzix scalloped heart nesting die set to make this creation. 

I used the largest die in the set to make the card base. I cut into a folded piece of card with the top of the die slightly over hanging the fold to create a card blank. I folded the one heart in half to create the easel then cut a single heart with the same size die to attach to the front of the folded heart. 

I added hearts that I cut with smaller size dies in the set. I die cut the other elements to attach to the card. I also added printed sentiments inside the card.

I completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

1st Christmas Tree Decoration

 

I have covered a MDF heart with gingham card. I added small cotton wool balls on the edge of the heart. I die cut the gingerbread girl in kraft card with a Cheery Lynn die and added tiny pieces of card behind the buttons and eyes of the gingerbread girl. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set and used the next size in the nesting set to cut a red oval to mount the sentiment before attaching it to the heart. I added the gingerbread girl and then completed my decoration with organza and satin ribbon.

Sleigh exploding box

 

I have made the sleigh using 300gsm white card then added red and gold mirror card to decorate.

I adapted my exploding box dimensions so the box would house the sleigh. I printed personalised sentiments and die cut sentiments using Sue Wilson dies. I cut the shapes for the sentiments with dies from a Spellbinders nesting set. I added chocolates to the sleigh.

I added another Sue Wilson sentiment onto the lid of the box. Inside the lid I have created a pocket to hold a tag so a handwritten message can be added.

Wrapping presents

 

I have decided to wrap my gifts with brown paper and decorate them with the embellishments I often use on my cards. They look pretty to give to the recipient but in the mean time they match my colour scheme

.  

I added lace and ribbon around the side of the wrapped gift. I die cut the tag using a Tonic die using cream card and the brown paper. I added the sentiment to my gift tag, this is also cut with a Tonic die. I die cut the poinsettia in gold card using a Marianne die. I added some embellishments with the flower. I inked the edges of all the die cut elements.

Snowman Christmas Exploding Box

 

A gentleman ordered this exploding box. He wanted the snowman inside so I had to make the box bigger than I usually do. The snowman lights up so I die cut a small circle into the base of the box to enable the recipient to access the switch.

I used a score board to make the box.  I matt and layered all the panels with red and green card. I printed the personalised sentiments and die cut them.  I have used the following dies to decorate the box.

Baby 1st Christmas Tree Decoration

 

I have used a mache bauble and added satin ribbon around the edge and then the pom poms. I die cut a circles of gingham card and added them to the front and back of the bauble. I added a gingerbread man  die cut that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set. I completed my decoration with a satin ribbon bow and stars that I cut with a punch.

Festive Wishes

 

This is my creation for the challenges over at craftyhazelnutpatternedpaper.

I have matt and layered my DL card with red card and then patterned paper. I added a strip of cream card and red satin ribbon across my card. I die cut the sentiment using a Sue Wilson die and attached it to ovals that I cut with dies from Presscut nesting set. I attached the oval to my card and then added a die cut poinsettia that I cut with a Tattered Lace die and then completed my card with a flat backed pearl
