50th Birthday Card

 

This is my DT post for the challenge at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have made the box using my score board.

I covered all the panels with dotty paper. I die cut the various elements using Sue Wilson dies, Tonic dies, dies from The Works and punches for the flowers and leaves

.

Rugby Fan Birthday Card

 

Thankfully crafting is easier with my smaller Gemini 

I made a personalised card for a gentleman that loves Welsh Rugby

I have covered my 8x8in white card with red holographic card. I printed a picture of the WRU emblem. I also printed the sentiments. I trimmed the picture and added it to green card. I die cut the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and die cut green card with next size in the die set to mount the sentiments before adding them to my card. I completed my card with the various die cut embellishments.

New Baby Card

 

I was asked to make a new baby card with little notice so I wanted to make something quickly.

I have matt and layered my A4 card with lilac card and then white card. I die cut the baby vest, sentiment, little duck and scalloped oval in lilac card. I die cut a smaller oval and the baby bib in white card. I added lace  and satin ribbon  before adding the die cut elements to my card. I have added Tonic Nuvo drops on the larger oval and the vest where poppers would be.

Platinum Jubilee Card

I have finally started to craft again. I have been finding die cutting uncomfortable. I have bought a smaller manual machine hoping that will help. I had been asked to make a Platinum Jubilee card and thankfully I have eventually been able to make it. 

I matt and layered my card with holographic card and the texture card and then added an Union Jack. I die cut the circle with a ribbon treading die from Crafters Companion. I threaded red satin ribbon around the die cut and then added the 70 which I cut with Tattered Lace dies.

I die cut the letters with  a Xcut die and the numbers across the top of my card are cut with Marianne dies. 

I die cut the crowns using a Tonic die.

Mother's Day Card

 

I have and matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink and added white embossed card on the one side of the card. I used a Xcut embossing folder. I added satin ribbon down my card where the embossing meets the pink card. I have used a page from a Hunkydory book, mounted in onto darker pink card before attaching to my card. I have printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut die from a nesting set. I added this die cut sentiment to ovals in both the pinks I have used on my card. They are cut with larger dies from the nesting set. I have then attached the mounted sentiment to my card.

Heart Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with black card and pink embossed card. I have die cut the heart element in black and pink card. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Sue Wilson banner die.

Aunty Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my white 8x8in card with pink mirror card and then white card. I used a Crafters Companion to die cut the sentiment edge die. I cut the die into the mirror card. I used the die to use as a template to cut the white card on top of my card. I cut the die numerous times to enable me to paper piece the sentiment and floral detail in various colours. I die cut the "Just for you" sentiment with a Tonic die and added it the  shape which I cut with a die from a Spellbinders nesting set. I cut the mirror card with the next size in the nesting set to mount the sentiment before attaching it to my card. The shapes on the top of my card are cut with dies from a nesting set from "The Works" I added the Aunty which I cut with a Tonic die.

Grandpa Birthday Card

 

This card is a little different to what I usually make. I picked up a colouring book in The Works which had all letters of the alphabet in various designs. I found the colouring very therapeutic. I usually make a Grandpa card with the theme of rugby or steam trains. I wanted to make something different. The pages in the book have a perforated edge so they are easy to remove from the book. I have coloured the image with various pens. I covered an A4 card with green embossed card which I embossed with a Xcut embossing folder. I mounted the image onto Kraft card before adding it to my card blank. I die cut the Happy Birthday with a Tonic die and added it to an oval which I cut with a Presscut die. I added this to my card. I printed the "is for Grandpa" and die cut it with a Sue Wilson banner die and then added it to bigger banners before adding it to my card. I completed my card with some stars which I cut with a punch.

Dad Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with orange card and then gingham card. I have die cut circles and arranged then on my card with satin ribbon so they resemble medals. I added various elements to the circles which I have die cut. I printed sentiments and die cut them dies from nesting sets. I mounted both sentiments onto orange card which I cut with the next size up in the nesting set before attaching them to my card.

Monkey Personalised Card

 

I have covered my white DL card with orange and white gingham card. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a Spellbinders nesting set. I have used the next size in the die set to cut orange card to mount my sentiment. I die cut the monkey with a Marianne die set. I added the die cut elements to my card blank. I completed my card with stars which I cut with a punch.

Congratulations card

 

I have used a scalloped edge 6x6 white. I have used Holographic card for my background. I printed a "L plate" image and cut it in half before attached it to my card. I then used a Crafters Companion die set to complete the card

Pretty Dress card

 

This is my DT post for the challenges at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white scalloped edge card with green and white embossed card. I embossed the card using a Crafts Too embossing folder. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a Sue Wilson set. I cut the elements in the set into green and silver card. I stamped and cut the dress image. I added lace and ribbon to my card blank before attaching the prepared elements. I die cut an oval with a Presscut die and attached the numbers to it which I cut with Tattered Lace dies. I die cut the key and added ribbon to it before attaching it to my card. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Unfortunately I had too make another card for a special family at a sad time.

I have matt and layered my cream DL card with Kraft card and then cream card. I die cut the sentiment using a Tonic die and the butterflies using Cheery Lynn dies in Kraft card. I completed my card by adding the die cut elements to my card blank.

Dad Birthday Card

 

A birthday card for a bingo loving Dad. 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card. I printed a sentiment onto white card and then added it to my card blank. I added the gingham card on one half of my card blank. I printed the bingo theme images, cut them out and added them to my card. I added the numbers which I cut with Marianne dies to die cut circles. I completed my card with stars which I cut with a punch.

50th Birthday Card

 

This design card is very popular at the moment. My husband has a milestone birthday this year so lots of  friends also have one. I have been asked a few times to make a card like this. 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in card with black card and gingham card from Anna Marie.

I have printed the details and die cut them. Using a circle die set from The Works I cut the initial and Sue Wilson banners to cut the other details. I die cut the Fabulous at and number element with Tonic dies. 

I assembled all these elements before attaching them to my card blank.

Valentine's Gift for Libby

 

My son wanted me to make a small Valentine's gift for his Girlfriends younger sister.

I have used a 8x8in white box frame. I have used card from a Crafters Companion Luxury Cardstock set. I have die cut the heart frame element using the die from the Stamp and Die Loving Frame set. I cut the frame into mirror card and paper pieced some of the hearts with glitter card from the same card pack. I printed the recipients name and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. I mounted the name onto a glitter card oval before attaching it to my project. I added my completed design into the box frame.

Happy Birthday To You Card

 

I have made an 8x8in easel card. I have matt an layered the top and base in purple mirror card and white card. The top layer of the card has been embossed with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I have used sentiment Edge'able dies from Crafters Companion on the top and bottom. On the top I have paper pieced the sentiment and the floral elements. On the bottom I also paper pieced the sentiment and the heart design. I added a panel across the base with foam pads to act as the stopper for my easel. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a nesting set from The Works, I mounted the sentiment before adding it to my card. I completed my card with satin ribbon.

Another random request off my son for a personalised card with DJ Ben Nicky. I had never heard of him. I printed an image and personalised sentiment. I mounted the image on white card and then black card. I covered my 8x8in white card with gingham card. I die cut the ovals with Presscut dies and added a sentiment to them cut with a Tonic die. I die cut the personalised sentiment with a Spellbinders die. I die cut black card using the next size in the nesting set to mount the sentiment. I added the ovals to my card, then the personalised sentiment before adding the image. I completed my card with stars which I cut with a punch

I have made this Valentine's card using a page from a Hunkydory book. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then kraft card. I added embossed card on the bottom of my card base. I attached lace and satin ribbon across the card. I mounted the image onto kraft card and then red card before attaching it to my card base. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders die from a nesting set. I used the next size in the set to cut red card to mount my sentiment before adding it to my card.

Auntie Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then patterned paper. I die cut the circle using a Ribbon Frame die. I added satin ribbon through the elements of the die. I added ribbon below the circle trying to resemble a rosette. I added the sentiment on the rosette, the aunty is cut using a Tonic die and I used dies from an alphabet set to cut the best. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it will a Spellbinders die and mounted the sentiment with pink card before attaching it to my card.

Another two pages for my Scalloped Embrace memory book. I have used magnets to close the flaps on page 5.  The sentiments are from Sue Wilson and Crafters Companion. The tag I added to page 6 is cut with a Tonic die.

Memory Book Box

 

I have made this box for a Memory Book using a Tonic die set.  These are great dies making the box so easy to make. I have used white card to make the box. I used black and gold card for the panels. Cutting the detail in black and paper piecing them in gold.

A very quick card tonight. A neighbour asked it I could make a Welsh language card. I have tiny dies from Tattered Lace which are Welsh sentiments but wish I could buy larger Welsh sentiment dies. 

I have cut the front of this card in half, I added pink card to the visible panels. I added hessian trim and satin ribbon down the front of my card. I mounted the Hunkydory image onto pink and then green card before I attached it to the font of my card. I added the sentiment to an white oval which I cut with a die from a nesting set. I added the white oval to a pink oval and then a green oval before attaching it to my card.
