Valentine's Card

This is my first request for a Valentine's Card.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with black card and then pink embossed card. I die cut the heart with pink and black card. I assembled the heart before attaching it to my card. I die cut the banners and added the sentiment. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops. The heart on my card is a perfect design for the drops.

Wedding Card

I have made this wedding card in the same colour scheme as the wedding

I have die cut the book elements using a Tattered Lace die set and shaped them with a rolling pin before attaching them to an A4 card.

 I embossed the white card and then printed the personalised elements and die cut them with ovals from a Presscut nesting set. I die cut the couple using a Cheery Lynn die and the horseshoe with a Sweet Dixie die. I added flowers and ribbon and finally Tonic Nuvo drops.

New Baby exploding box

A personalised New Baby exploding box. There are some instructions under tutorials on my blog. 

I have used a Marianne die to create the shoes for the centre of the box. I printed personalised sentiments and die cut them to attach to the inside. I have added a die cut tag in the lid for the sender to write a message.

Frozen birthday card

I have covered my card with blue card from Hobbycraft.

I die cut the snowflake borders with a Sue Wilson die and attached them to my card and added ribbon to the borders.

I die cut the image with a Tonic die from a nesting set. I used the next size in the set to cut a white rectangle to attach my image to. I added a die cut sentiment and snowflakes that I cut with a punch.

For my topper I purchased some Christmas cards from M&S in 75% off sale that are Frozen themed and only a few cards in the box have a Christmas sentiment.

Birthday Card

This is my January post for craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

Sorry for the delay in posting this onto my blog. I haven't been feeling myself for a while so I have needed a bit of encouragement to do some crafting and blogging.

I have used a cream 8x8in card and covered half of it with patterned paper from my stash. I added some lace across my card. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a banner die by Sue Wilson. I cut the larger banners to layer the sentiment. I added some floral embellishments along with some flourishes that I die cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I die cut the numbers with a Tonic die and added them to a die cut that I cut with a die from The Works before attaching it to my card.

Bauble Christmas card

I

I have matt and layered a white 8x8in card with brown and gold card. I added white embossed card down one side of the card, I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut white card using a Crafters Companion ribbon threading die and added brown satin ribbon before attaching it to my card. I die cut the baubles using a Spellbinders nesting set. I embossed the white bauble using a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I attached the baubles to my card and decorated it with ribbon, die cut poinsettia, flat backed pearls and Tonic Nuvo drops and finally added a personalised sentiment.

Season's Greetings

I have used my Gemini Foilpress for this creation.

I have used a nesting set and layered all the elements, on the top layer I have foiled the sentiment. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with green and then white card. I foiled a design onto the white layer. I added ribbon across the card before adding the other elements. I made poinsettia using a Tattered Lace die set. I added these to my card and then completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Tree Decoration

This is my DT project for the challenge over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have covered a MDF bauble with patterned paper. I attached the die cuts. I added the gingham heart ribbon and tiny white balls. The bauble is completed with red ribbon.

Golden Wedding Card

I had been asked to make a Golden Wedding Anniversary card.

I have made an A4 card and matt and layered it with brown pearlised card and cream embossed card. I embossed the cream card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I die cut the book elements using a Tattered Lace die set. Using my Gemini Foilpress I foiled alternate pages of my book. I shaped my pages using a rolling pin before attaching them to my card.  I used a Foil Cut 'N Stamp frame to cut frames for both sides of my book. I printed a personalised sentiment and included it within one of the frames and a die cut a 50 using a Tonic die to add to the other frame. I made the flowers using a Die'sire quilling die. I completed my card with ribbon and flat backed pearls.

I have made a box for my card using a scoreboard. I covered the box in brown card and added lace, ribbon and flat backed pearls to embellish my box.

Cute birthday card

I have covered my 8x8in white card with red card and green and white gingham card after distressing and inking all edges. I have added the hessian trim and satin ribbon across my card. I have die cut scalloped circles in pink and red using dies from a Xcut nesting set and added the Hobbyhouse topper. I die cut the shapes for the sentiment using dies from The Works and added the flourishes that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I added various other elements including flowers, pearls and moss. I purchased all these embellishments along with the ribbon and hessian trim from my local artificial floral supplies.

I used matching elements on my box for the card.

Engagement card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with lilac and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card using a Tattered Lace embossing folder.

I attached lace and satin ribbon across my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped heart from a Sizzix nesting set. I attached this heart to a lilac scalloped heat before attaching it to my card. I have added floral embellishments and pearls with hot glue and finally completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

I made a box to match.

Birthday Card

I had to make a quick card because I had missed a friend's birthday

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with green card and gingham card.

I distressed all the edges before attaching it to my card.

My friend is a keen gardener so I used this image from a Hunkydory little book.

I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped circle die from a nesting set and then cut a green scalloped circle with the next size die in the nesting set to mount the sentiment.

I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Rugby player Birthday card

I covered my 8x8 in white card with black card. I used the Tonic star die set and cut the elements in black card and silver mirror card. I printed personalised sentiments and die cut them with elements from the Tonic Die set. I cut the numbers with a Tonic die. I finally added some other die cut elements cut with Sweet Dixie and Marianne dies.

Santa Boots exploding box

I have made this box using instructions in my tutorial. I have covered all the panels with Christmas patterned paper. I purchased the Santa boots from my local artificial floral supplies. They are a Christmas tree ornament. The sizes of decorations intended to add to a Christmas tree are a perfect size for these boxes.

Ice Skate Christmas Card

I have covered my A4 card with red card. I used the Stamps by Chloe ice skate stamp and die set. I paper pieced the ice skates. I used white, black and mirror card for an authentic look. I stamped the candy onto white card and coloured them using a red Spectrum Noir pen. I stamp the holly onto green card and added a red embellishment. I die cut the hearts using Sizzix dies from a nesting set. I added the sentiment and the bow to the hearts. I completed my card with flat backed gems.

Advent calendar

I loved making this advent calendar. I have to mention the clever lady that gave me the inspiration.

I used the double sided dies from Crafters Companion. I used patterned paper from my stash. The numbers I used are also from Crafters Companion which are a perfect size. I die cut the star numerous times using a Tonic die and attached them all together for the star to stand out. I also die cut the bows with a die which was from The Works. I have used organza ribbon to attach to the boxes to enable the recipient open the boxes with ease.

Peppa Pig Birthday card

I printed the image that I found on the internet. I die cut it will a Xcut scalloped circle die from a nesting set. I then cut a pink scalloped circle with the next size die in the set. I mounted the image onto that. I covered my A4 card with pink card and then a panel of pattened card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a oval die from a Presscut nesting set. I mounted the sentiment onto a pink oval. I die cut the star and number using Tonic dies. I added ribbon down the card before assembling. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Niece Birthday Card

I have made a DL card using elements from a Hunkydory set. I have personalised the card by cutting the printed sentiment with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. I have layered it onto pink and mirror card

Makeup birthday card

I have covered my white card with black and white spotty card from Anna Marie.

I printed an image from the internet. I die cut the image with a rectangle die from a Tonic nesting set. I used the next size in the set to cut  red rectangle to mount the image. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a scalloped circle die from a Xcut nesting set. I cut a red scalloped circle with the next die in the nesting set to mount the sentiment. I assembled these elements on my card. I then added the numbers (cut with a Tonic die) to the shape that I cut with a die from a nesting set from "The Works" and then added this to my card. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Leaving to go travelling

This is the card for my DT post over craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have made this card for a young lady that is leaving her job today to go travelling

I have printed images from the internet of flags of the young lady's destinations.

I printed a personalised sentiment. I die cut the sentiment with a Xcut scalloped circle die and cut the next size in the nesting set to mount the sentiment. I covered my card with Anna Marie spotty paper, then added the sentiment. I die cut the Bon Voyage image with a Tonic rectangle die from a nesting set and then added it to a blue rectangle before attaching it to my card. I then added the flag images to complete my card.
