Money wallet

I have used a cream DL card to make this Christmas money wallet.

I covered the card with embossed kraft card, I used an Embossalicious embossing folder.

I die cut the gingerbread people using Cheery Lynn dies. I attached black card on the back of them to cover the spaces for the eyes and like wise for the "buttons" using red card. I attached ribbon along the bottom of the card and then the gingerbread people. Finally I added stars that I cut with a punch.

Tree Decoration

This project is for my DT post over at movingalongwiththetimes

I have made some decorations for my Christmas tree. I have enjoyed making them. I don't make anything other than cards very often. 

I have used a MDF shape and covered it with some patterned paper from my stash.

I have used various items from my crafty stash that I have had from my local artificial floral supplies. I have included a die cut poinsettia that I cut with a Tattered Lace die and a small die cut sentiment.

I added these elements with my glue gun.

Wreath Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and then green embossed card. I embossed the green card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I have used embellishments from my local artificial floral supplies to make the wreath. I attached this to my card with my glue gun. I die cut the Season's Greetings with a Elizabeth Craft Design die and added it to a white oval that I cut with a Presscut die from a nesting set. I attached this oval to a green and then red oval that I cut with the next two sizes in the nesting set. After attaching this to my card I used red Tonic Nuvo drops to embellish the berries on the holly embossed background.

High Top Birthday Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then plain black card on the bottom and black and white spotty card on the top and then red satin ribbon across the card where the two cards meet. I used a Hunkydory topper and mounted it onto red card before adding it to my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set and mounted it on a red oval cut with the next die in the nesting set and then attached it to my card.

Floral Heart Birthday Card

I have used this card for my DT post over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I matt and layered an A4 white card with pink card and pink and white gingham card. I distressed the edges of the card. I die cut a heart to use the shape as a guide to add the embellishments, The embellishments are from Anna Marie and my local artificial floral supplier. I die cut the trellis using a Cheery Lynn die and attached it to white card before attaching it to my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set, I mounted the oval onto bigger ovals and attached it to the trellis. I completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

I made a box for my card and added hearts cut with Sizzix dies, a sentiment cut with a Tonic die and finally embellishments to match the card.

Congratulations on passing your driving test card

I have used paper and embellishments from a Hunkydory set. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then the patterned paper. I printed a personalised sentiment and added it into the centre of the floral embellishment. I attached this to the side of my card and trimmed the excess,

I have printed images and a personalised sentiment. I matt and layered the images. I matt and layered the card with blue and then the card with the sentiment. I added the die cut cup that I cut with a Marianne die in mirror card. I die cut boots with a Sweet Dixie die in white and paper pieced the elements with black card. Personalised girlfriend card

A personalised birthday card for my son to give his girlfriend.

 I have made an A4 cream card and matt and layered it with purple and then cream card. I have used a punch on the corners. I die cut the trellis with a Cheery Lynn, I cut it twice and snipped part of one to enable me to extend the trellis when attaching it to the card.  I printed the photo and sentiment. I matt and layered the photo with pink and then purple card and then added it to the card. I die cut the sentiment with a Sizzix heart die and then added it to the trellis. I added the heart that I cut with a punch and the die cut Love element. I completed the card with flat backed embellishments on the trellis.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with gold card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut poinsettia element with a Sue Wilson Stained glass window die. I paper pieced the design. I die cut scalloped ovals with an Go Kreate nesting set. and that added the sentiment that I cut with a Sue Wilson die and then added the poinsettia that I cut with Tattered Lace dies. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Best Wishes Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then green and white gingham card. I distressed and inked all the edges of these layers

I have added hessian ribbon and pink satin ribbon across my card. I mounted the image onto a scalloped circle that I cut with a Xcut die from a nesting set. I attached that to the card. I used a nesting set of dies from The Works to cut the pink and white shapes to add the sentiment to that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I also cut the flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die. I attached these elements to my card before adding the floral and pearls elements to complete my card.

I made a box for my card using my score board. I covered my box with the same pink and gingham paper as my card. I attached the hessian ribbon and pink satin ribbon across the box to match my card. I then added a die cut tag that I cut with a Joy die.

Snowman exploding box

Christmas Gift Tag

I have cut the tag using a Die'sire create a card die set. The sentiment is cut using a Tonic die and the poinsettia with a Marianne die. I assembled these elements after inking the edges and then completed the tag with ribbon  and flat backed pearl.

Wedding Invitation

I have been asked to make wedding invitations.

On one of the engagement cards I made for the couple I put the trellis. The bride to be wanted it on her invitations and her theme is lilac, ivory and pearls.

So this is what I come up with. I matt and layered the 5x7in ivory card with lilac and ivory. I die cut the trellis using a Cheery Lynn die. I printed wedding invitation and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. I mounted it on a lilac oval cut with the next size die in the nesting set then attached it to the trellis. I completed the invitation with flat backed pearls.

The bride to be liked it,  so 79 to go!!

Train Christmas Card

I have rounded the corners of my white 8x8in card with a punch.

I covered my card with Anna Marie spotty card.

I added a piece of white card on the bottom of the card. I added the heart embellishment and he die cut train. I cut the train with a Marianne die. I added small die cut elements into the carriages. The duck, boat and rattle are cut with Sue Wilson dies. The candy cane and lolly are cut with Xcut dies.

I die cut the oval with a Presscut die from a nesting set and attached the sentiment to it. I die cut the sentiment with a Crafts Too die in red and green card and slightly offset then when attaching them to create a drop shadow

Nan birthday exploding box

I was asked to make a card for a Nan and Mam on the same card for a lady that loves cake.

I had this paper pack so I thought an exploding box with a cake in the centre was ideal.

I have made the box using the instructions you will find under tutorials on my blog.

I covered all panels with the cake and tea patterned paper. I die cut various elements to add to the box and made a cake for the centre. I printed to personalised sentiments to add to the box

Football Supporter Card

This is for my DT post over at movingalongwiththetimes. The theme this time is "for a man".

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with black card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious picnic plaid embossing folder. I rounded the corners of these layers with a punch.

I added a football team emblem that I mounted on black card. I rounded the corners on these layers too, I die cut the football boots with a Sweet Dixie die in black and paper pieced them with white pieces and added it to a die cut circle. I die cut the trophy with silver mirror card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a nesting set from The Works and die cut the next size in set in black to mount the sentiment before adding to my card.

I completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch.

Perfume Bottle Birthday Card

I have matt and layered my white 8x8in white card with gold and red card. I die cut three gold strips using the Sue Wilson Eternal Ring striplet die then attached these to white card and cut around them. I attached this to my card. I die cut the perfume bottle in gold using Sue Wilson dies. I attached sticky adhesive sheet to the background of the perfume bottles and then added the intricate part. I added Tonic glitter to the perfume bottles. I attached the bottles to the die cut strip background. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders die from a nesting set, then cut the next size in the nesting set to mount the sentiment before adding it to the card. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Family Tree Birthday Card

I have used the Xcut Family Tree die set to create this card. I have made an 8x8in white easel card and matt and layered the top and bottom with pink and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Xcut embossing folder. I die cut the family tree and then printed the names of the recipients family and then die cut them with a small heart die. I die cut the grass with a Memory Box die and added the flowers to the grass and the tree that I die cut with a Cheery Lynn multi flower die.

I also added leaves to the tree that I cut with a punch.

I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic die from a nesting set. I cut the next two sizes to mount the sentiment. I then attached this topper to the base of the card with foam pads to act as a stopper for the easel

I completed my card with flat backed pearls

First Christmas exploding box

I wanted to make something a bit different for a baby first Christmas card. I have made the exploding box using the technique under tutorials on my blog. I have made this box with the two biggest layers. I used patterned paper from a paper pad from The Range. The pad is 10cm x 10cm and called all is bright. I have used various die cuts on each panel. I have left two panels plain to add personalised sentiments at a later date. I have added the train in the centre of the box which is a tree decoration from The Range.

Bauble Christmas Card

This card is for my DT post over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper.

I have matt and layered the top and bottom of my 8x8in white easel card with red tartan and plain red card and added red satin ribbon down the card where the two card meet.  I have die cut the baubles using a Spellbinders nesting set. I embossed the baubles using a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I attached the baubles to my card and added narrow gold ribbon at the top of the baubles. I die cut the poinsettia using Tattered Lace dies. I added a strip of card on the bottom and ovals that will include personalised sentiments. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.
