Gardening birthday card

A birthday card with a garden scene for my Father-in-law who loves his garden.

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered the top and the bottom of the card. On the top I have added blue on the top and green on the bottom. On the base of my card I have matt and layered the base of my card with green and then blue card.

I have used lots of dies, using my scraps to create a scene.

I have printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders die from nesting set. I then cut the next two sizes in the nesting in the same colours as my matt and layering. I mounted the sentiment and then added the element to my card with foam pads so it will act as the stopper for the easel.

I die cut a small circle and added a Dad die cut to the corner of the base of my card.

Bride place setting

The place setting for the bride. This is made using Create a Card dies. It was tricky because I wanted it to be like the guests place settings but tent fold and shaped on both sides so I had to cut part of the die and then reverse my machine and turn my die and do the same the other side being careful lining it up. After doing this I cut between the die cuts ends with my guillotine. I die cut the fancy element with a free die from a magazine and attached that to the place setting before adding the fancy embellishment.

A Mother's Day Card

This card is always popular when people ask me to make cards and so simple and easy to make. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with purple and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I die cut the shoes with a Tattered Lace die and attached them to my card. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die from a nesting set. I cut the next size in the set in purple to mount the sentiment. I die cut the flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die and then added these to my card before adding the sentiment. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Rainbow card

This is a card for my DT post over at movingalongwiththetimes.

I have been asked to make a card for an unicorn loving little girl. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with purple then pink card, rounding all the edges with a punch

I have used a picture from a Hunkydory Little Book and attached it to my card. I have cut a white piece of card to look like a cloud and attached that partly over the unicorn picture. I have die cut the large flower shapes with Xcut dies from a nesting set, I will add a personalised sentiment when I have the details. I have cut the ovals with presscut dies from a nesting set and added the number that I cut with a Marianne die. I have die cut the circles with Go Kreate dies and placed them to look like a rainbow shape, not in traditional colours but ones in same colour scheme as card. I have cut the small hearts and small flowers with punches and attached them to the background of my card.

Lion birthday card

This is my creation for challenge over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have been asked to make this for a little boy for his birthday. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with brown card and then wide strips of various animal print patterned paper. I have die cut the lion using a Tonic die in tan and brown and the crown in gold mirror card I have assembled the lion before attaching it to my card. I have die cut the ovals with Presscut dies from a nesting set in tan and brown to compliment the lion. The white oval will include a personalised message.

Lantern for wedding

A completed lantern for a wedding decoration.

I have used a tonic die to cut out the elements in linen card. I have added pink parchment behind the fancy elements for the light to shine through. I die cut a small circle in the centre of the base. I put a band of card around two battery operated tea lights and attached them inside the lantern with a hot glue gun making sure the switches can be accessed through the circle in the base. I completed the lantern with pink wired ribbon and a pearl embellishment.

Birthday Card

A card ready for personalisation. I have made this card today which will be personalised. I have die cut the front edge of the 8x8in white card with a Tonic die. I cut the flower elements in pink to add to the fancy edge. I die cut the edge of the pink card to add to the front of the card. After cutting the pink card to size I embossed it with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I attached the pink card to my card blank. I die cut the ovals using dies from a Presscut nesting set. The smallest white oval will include a personalised sentiment. I die cut the flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die. I added flat backed pearls to the die cut flowers and the corner of my card.

Wedding RSVP

I have received my invitation to my Bestie's Wedding! No surprise what the invitation was like because I made them. The wording chosen was beautiful, my "nieces" invited us to celebrate their Mummy & Daddy's marriage.  So here is a RSVP for my nieces to go in the post this morning.

I have used a 5x7in white card and matt and layered with pink then white card which has RSVP printed on it. I have die cut the fancy heart with a Tattered Lace die and  attached to my card.

Birthday card

I have been asked to make a birthday card for a young lady to give her Gran. She was very specific with all elements especially wording. Inside the card reads "You are not getting older you are getting more precious!! I love making cards because you can add any special touches like these.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink and then white card. I die cut the valance and trellis in pink using Cheery Lynn dies. I printed the sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. I die cut a pink oval using the next size in the nesting set. I attached the valance to the matt and layered card base  but attached the trellis to plain white card and then cut around it and attached the rectangle to my card with foam pads. I used the topper from a Papermania set and completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Funny 18th Birthday card

This is a card for my son to give to one of his mates brother who is 18 tomorrow. Joe gave my son a lift home from football training while being instructed by his Dad. When they dropped my son off Joe ran over my sons toe. No damage done but my son will never let him forget it!!

I have found some images on the internet and printed them. I mounted both pictures on red card. I printed a sentiment and then matt and layered the 8x8in white card with red card and then the white card with the sentiment. I die cut the speech bubble using a First Edition die and the letters are cut with a Xcut die. I added the letters to the speech bubble and then attached it to the card. I die cut the numbers using Marianne dies and attached them to my card.

Birthday card

I have used a 8x8in white scalloped edge card for this project. The image is from a Hunkydory book which I have put onto gold card. I matt and layered my card with red then white and red embossed card. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a heart Sizzix die. I cut the next size in the nesting set in red to mount the white heart. I added the image and then die cut the lock and key with Spellbinders dies and cut the small heart with a punch and added them to my card. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Work in progress. A wedding guest book made with the Tonic Memory Book dies

Auntie Birthday Card

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I matt and layered the top with silver, pink and white embossed  card. I embossed the white card with a Sue Wilson embossing folder. I cut the circles with Tonic dies and added the sentiment also cut with a Tonic die. I die cut the handbags with Sue Wilson dies. I used the plain outline die to cut self adhesive sheets and then added the fancy element. I added Tonic Nuvo glitter over the bags. I matt and layered the bottom of my card with silver and white embossed card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a nesting set and then cut using the next size in  the nesting set from The Works in silver. I attached the sentiment to my card using foam pads so it will act as the stopper for the easel.

Wedding place setting

I have made this place setting using a Die'sire create a card die set. I have printed onto white card and die cut it trimming the edge with a guillotine because it does not cut because it is a create a card die. I die cut the next size in pink card and then the card in white linen card. I die cut the fancy element using a die I had free on a magazine. I used my Xyron to enable me to attach this to the white layer before attaching it to the other layers because it is easier to trim it to size. I then added the lovely pearl embellishment using a glue gun.

An Easter money wallet

I have matt and layered my 5x7in card white card with yellow and white card. I die cut the hearts with dies from Sizzix nesting set in orange and white card and attached them to my card. I die cut the sweet deer with a Marianne die and assembled him with foam pads and a glue pen then attached him to my card with wet glue. I die cut the sentiment with a Tonic die in yellow card and attached that on the hearts. I completed my card with the die cut daffodil cut with the yellow and orange that I have already used on the card using a Le Crea multi die.

Memory Book

This creation is for my DT post over at http://craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper.blogspot.co.uk/

I have made this book using a set of Die'sire create a card and beautiful paper from a First Edition It's a girl 8x8in pad. The dies do not cut the one side so you can adapt the size to your requirements and then use the same dies to make the pages. Because the dies are a nesting set they are perfect to cut the patterned paper.

Engagement card

I have made a 8x8in easel card. On this occasion I have made the top smaller than usual to use the tonic header die on the fold. I have matt and layered the top and the bottom with pink and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions folder. I die cut the hearts on the top with Spellbinders dies. I have die cut the scalloped hearts on the bottom with Sizzix dies from a nesting set. I attached the pink heart to the bottom of the card with foam pads so the heart will act as he stopper for the easel. I die cut the flourish and couple with Cheery Lyn dies. When I have been told what sentiment is wanted on the card I will add it to the white hearts. I added flat backed pearls to the pink scalloped heart.

Baby girl card

A quick and easy baby girl card because my son forgot to ask me to make one.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I rounded the corners with a punch before attaching the layers to my card. I die cut the trellis using a Cheery Lynn die in pink and tan card and slightly offset them when attaching them to my card. I die cut the white oval with a Presscut die from a nesting set then added the sentiment that I cut with a Tonic die. I also cut the sentiment in pink and tan card. I die cut the teddies using a Tonic die in tan and pink and attached them to my card. I completed my card with flat backed pearls

Friend Birthday Card

I have used a Sue Wilson weaving die to cut the elements for the embellishment on the top of my. I have used silver mirror card, purple and lilac. I matt and layered the top and bottom of my easel card with purple, lilac and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut a rectangle frame using dies from a Tonic nesting set to house the weaving design. I attached the weaving to the top of my card with some flowers and a personalised sentiment that I printed then die cut with a Sue Wilson banner set.

I printed another sentiment and die cut it with a die from a Spellbinders nesting set and cut the next two sizes in the set in purple and lilac and attached them to my card with foam pads for them to act as the stopper for the easel top of my card.

Wedding Invitation

Finally, I have felt like crafting again. We have been through tough times the past couple of months and even crafting was too much for me. Here is one of the wedding invitation samples I have made.

I printed Wedding Invitation onto parchment paper, then using that and tan card I matt and layered a 6x6in cream card. I die cut the heart using a Tattered Lace die and then added some organza ribbon.
