Advent Calendar

 


This is my DT project for the challenge at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have started making advent calendars for my nieces. I have so much spare time at the moment I wanted to make something other than a card.

I have used a Crafters Companion double sided die to cut the small triangles. I covered the front of the boxes with patterned paper. I punched a hole in the top of the box and added a loop of ribbon through the hole. I added hot glue on the knot inside the box to secure the ribbon. The small numbers have been cut with Crafters Companion dies. I assembled the boxes together with high tack tape and glue. I attached white card and satin ribbon on the sides of the assembled boxes and then attached it to two sheets of 300gsm card and cut around it. I attached a 12x12in sheet of patterned paper to 300gsm card before attaching my calendar to it. I will personalise the creation in due course.
