2nd Birthday Card

 

I have made this card using Stamperia paper and image. I covered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then patterned card. I distressed and inked the edges of the layers. I die cut a scalloped circle using a Xcut die and mounted the image. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Sizzix heart die and added it to a larger pink heart before attaching it to my card. I then added the image. I inked all the edges of these elements. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Camera

 

I have made this camera as a gift. I followed a tutorial on You Tube which was very easy to follow. I used Tonic concertina dies for the inside. The other elements are basic boxes made using my scoreboard. I used circle dies to make the lens. The metal elements are from The Works. I made the flowers using a Cheery Lynn die. I completed the camera with flat backed pearls, lace and satin ribbon.

18th Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I printed the sentiments and die cut them with Xcut scalloped circle dies from a nesting set. I used larger sizes in the set to cut circles so I could mount the sentiments before attaching them to my card. I added the 18 key along with floral embellishments and completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Poinsettia Christmas Card

 I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with gold card and white embossed card. I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder.  I used a Sue Wilson die to cut the poinsettia element. I paper pieced this design and then mounted it onto gold and red card before attaching it to my card. I die cut the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and added it to scalloped ovals cut with Go Kreate dies and then attached it to my card and added the poinsettia cut with a Tattered Lace die. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Rose Easel Card

 

I have used the a Crafters Companion die to make this card. I die cut the rose in element in black and then die cut it in pink and green to enable me to paper piece with those elements. I added the rose embellishment onto acetate. I have made an 8x8in white easel card and used a rectangular die to cut an aperture in the top of the card before adding my statement rose embellishment. I matt and layered the top and base with pink card and then black glitter card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic rectangular die then added it to larger rectangles before attaching it to my card using foam pads so it will act as a stopper for the easel.

Gift for Teacher

 

After seeing inspiration online and on the television I made this for my niece to give to her teacher

I matt and layered an A3 white card with yellow card and then white card. I printed the details and cut and mounted them on red card before attaching them to the mounted card. I attached the chocolate to the design using high tack tape. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a circle die and mounted that onto larger circles. I completed this creation with stars and hearts cut with punches.

Teacher Card

 

I have die cut the large elements with a die by Chloe's creative cards. I have cut lilac and then pink and white spotty card. I attached these layers to my 8x8in white card. The toppers I have used are from a set by DoCrafts. I mounted the elements on lilac card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a Presscut nesting set and added it to a lilac oval.  I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Teacher Thank you card

 

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then pink and white dotty cat. I attached lace and satin ribbon down my card. I have used a Hunkydory Little Book page and mounted it onto pink card before attaching it to my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders scalloped circle die and used the next size in the nesting set to cut a pink circle to mount my sentiment and then added it to my card.

Bold Word Christmas Card

 

This is the 1st card I have made with this Sue Wilson bold word die.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red glitter card and then white embossed card. I die cut the background for the word in red glitter card. I die cut the outline in kraft card and then the letters in spotty card.  I attached satin ribbon across my card and then added a satin ribbon bow. I added the bold word embellishment and added the stamped Merry

Cute Christmas Card

 

I have used a Crafters Companion Connie Fong stamp for this image. 

I die cut the coloured image with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set. I mounted the image onto a red then green oval.  I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with green card and then red and white spotty card. I have added lace and satin ribbon across my card then attached the image. I die cut the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and attached it to the shapes I have cut with Spellbinders dies and then added it to my card with foam pads. I completed my card with various floral elements.

Wedding card

 

I have matt and layered the top and base of my 8x8in easel card with pink card and then embossed white card. I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut the panels using a Sue Wilson die set. I cut three of the panels and added them onto white card. I added satin ribbon where the panels meet. I attached this element to my card using foam pads. I made the large flowers using die cuts cut with a Crafters Companion die. I also cut the flourish elements and leaves using a die from the same set. I die cut the ovals using dies from a Presscut nesting set then I added the sentiment that I cut with a Crafters Companion die. I attached the ovals to my card using foam pads and then added the floral elements with hot glue. I printed a sentiment for the base of the card and die cut it with a Tonic rectangular die and added it to a larger rectangle before attaching it to the base of my card using foam pads so it will act as the stopper for my easel. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops. I made a white box using my scoreboard and added pink panels to all sides. I die cut the heart to add to the top of my box.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

I have used a set of Tattered Lace dies to cut the "book" layers in white and red card. On the front I have used the die to cut a page from a Hunkydory liitle book. I curled all the layers around my rolling pin. 

I have made an A4 easel card and matt and layered the top and the bottom with red and then white embossed card. I added the book to the front using red liner tape in the centre and foam pads down the sides and then added the bookmark.  I die cut the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and attached it to the die cut shapes which I cut with Spellbinders dies before attaching it to my card. I die cut the flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die and the poinsettia with Tattered Lace dies. I completed my card with satin ribbon and tonic nuvo drops. 

I made the box using a scoreboard. I attached red satin ribbon around the outside of the lid and added a bow.  I added the scalloped circles to the box lid, these were cut with Xcut dies from a nesting set. I die cut the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die. I completed the box with a poinsettia and tonic nuvo drops.

Card for special friends

 

This is a simple card. A card that no crafter wants to make. 

I have covered my 5x7in cream card with kraft card. I have added cream card to the bottom of my card blank and then attached satin ribbon across my card. I die cut the sentiment in kraft card using a Tonic die. I added the die cut butterflies, I cut them with Cheery Lynn dies.

Daffodil Birthday Card

I have matt and layered my A4 card with yellow and then blue gingham card. 

I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle die from a nesting set. I cut a yellow scalloped circle with the next size die in the nesting set to mount the sentiment before attaching it to my card. I attached lace down my card with a strip of yellow card and satin ribbon. I used the Xcut scalloped circle die to cut the Hobbyhouse image. I added die cut daffodils. I cut them with Leane Creatief dies.

Quick Baby Card

 

I have been asked to make a quick baby card. I wasn't given any information for the new arrival so this is what I made.

This is an A4 card  which has been matt and layered with lilac and white card. I added lace and satin ribbon down the card along with a bow. I die cut the scalloped ovals with Go Kreate dies from a nesting set. I added the sentiment to the ovals that I cut with a Tonic die. The vest and bib have been cut with Sue Wilson dies. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops on the oval and also on the vest where "poppers" would be.

Advent Calendar

 

This is my DT project for the challenge at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have started making advent calendars for my nieces. I have so much spare time at the moment I wanted to make something other than a card.

I have used a Crafters Companion double sided die to cut the small triangles. I covered the front of the boxes with patterned paper. I punched a hole in the top of the box and added a loop of ribbon through the hole. I added hot glue on the knot inside the box to secure the ribbon. The small numbers have been cut with Crafters Companion dies. I assembled the boxes together with high tack tape and glue. I attached white card and satin ribbon on the sides of the assembled boxes and then attached it to two sheets of 300gsm card and cut around it. I attached a 12x12in sheet of patterned paper to 300gsm card before attaching my calendar to it. I will personalise the creation in due course.

Wedding Anniversary Card

 

This is my Guest Designer post for the challenge at paperfundaychallenges

An anniversary card for my best friend and her husband.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink mirror card. I then added a satin finish card on the  bottom and embossed white card on the top. I used a Xcut embossing folder. I attached lace and ribbon across the centre of my card followed by an image from a Hunkydory book. The printed sentiment has been cut with a Go Kreate die from a nesting set and then attached to my card. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.
