Heart Easel birthday card

After seeing lots of inspiration for a launch of dies to make easel cards, I used the heart dies I already have to make this easel card. I printed a personalised sentiment to add to the large heart. I die cut the sentiments and numbers and added them to the other hearts. I printed a verse and added it to the

base of the easel. I completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Personalised 21st Birthday Card

I have matt and layered my white 8x8in card with lilac and then white embossed card.

I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Spellbinders die from a nesting set. I attached this to a lilac scalloped circle before attaching to my card. I purchased the key from a card shop a few  years ago. I embellished the key with flowers and pearls before attaching to my card with hot glue.

Finally, I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Mam birthday card

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I matt and layered the top and bottom with pink card and then white card. I have used a Cheery Lynn die to cut the valance for the top of my card. I added the lattice that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I die cut a printed sentiment with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. I attached it to a pink oval cut with the next size in the nesting set before adding it to my card. The image is from a Papermania set.

I added the sentiment to the bottom of the card that I cut with a Tonic die from a nesting set. I added this to a pink rectangle and attached it to my card with foam pads so it with act as a stopper for the easel.

I die cut the numbers using a Tonic die and added them to a die cut circle before attaching to my card.

Nan 90th Birthday Box

I have made this box using an 30cm by 15cm

I scored the card at 7cm, 14cm and 28cm

I scored width of the card at 7cm

I used the 2cm on the end of the scored card as a glue tab. On the top section of the box cut this section away.

Attach strips of card inside the box. Cut 9cm strips and score 1cm one each side and these will be your glue tabs.

I attached acetate to the strips to add my embellishments. I have used various die cuts with lace and ribbon to embellish the box. I printed personalised sentiments and attached them to the box.

Son Birthday Card

A son Birthday card for a keen fisherman. 

I have matt and layered the top and bottom of my 8x8in easel card with brown card and then white embossed card.  I used a Xcut embossing folder. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic rectangular die from a nesting set. I used the next size in the nesting set to die cut a brown rectangle to mount the sentiment. I attached this to the base of my card with foam pads so it will act as the stopper for my easel card. I found some fishing elements in my stash which were perfect for the recipient. I completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch.

Pocket Hug

I had the inspiration from social media.

I made this for a friend who is social distancing and finding it difficult particularly because it was her late husbands birthday on the weekend.

I cut a DL card in half. I covered the white card with lilac card. I cut all the corners with a punch.

I printed the sentiments and cut them to size. I found the small heart in my stash. I added the die cut sentiment that I die cut with a die from a nesting set from The Works. I attached these elements to the card. I added ribbon to the heart and attached it to my card using a paper fastener so the recipient can remove it.

I covered my 8x8in white card blank with purple card. I have used Sue Wilson dies to die cut the panels. I added white embossed card between the two die cut elements. I used a Crafts Too embossing folder. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a nesting set from  The Works. I used the next size in the set to cut the purple card to mount the sentiment. I added satin ribbon across my card before attaching the sentiment with foam pads. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Daughter Birthday Card

I have made this card using elements from a Papermania set.

I have matt and layered my card with pink card then patterned paper. I shaped the corners of these layers with a punch. I printed a personalised sentiment. I added a panel with the sentiment down one side of my card then added lace and ribbon.  I mounted the toppers onto pink card and attached them to my card.

Friend Birthday Card

This is very different to cards I usually make but I have been watching the doodling videos on Clarity Facebook page. This is a design I had been keeping myself busy with so decided to add it to my friends birthday card. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink, black and white embossed card.

I have matt and layered my 6x6in white card with green card and then white embossed card. I die cut the elements using a Sweet Dixie die set and the oval was cut with a Presscut die from a nesting set.

Teddy Happy Birthday Card

 I needed to make a quick birthday card, this is what I came up with. 

I covered my white 5x7in card with gingham card. I used a page from a Hunkydory little book.

I used pink card to mount the image before attaching it to my card. I attached it at an angle and trimmed the overlapping corners. I die cut the sentiment and attached it to the die cut shapes that I cut with dies from a Spellbinders nesting set. I completed my card with pearls.

Grandpa birthday card

I have matt and layered my 5x7in white card with blue and then white card. I added a blue die cut lattice that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. Teddy bear birthday card

A simple birthday card. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red then kraft card. I added a panel of white embossed card to my card. I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I attached red satin to ribbon down the centre of my card. I die cut the teddies with a Tonic Studios die in kraft card and paper pieced with red card. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle from a nesting set, I also die cut a red scalloped circle to mount the sentiment before attaching it to my card. I completed my card with red stars that I cut with a punch.

Mother's Day Mum

Another card made using an image from a Hunkydory little book.

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and covered half of the card with white embossed card. I used a Xcut embossing folder.

I attached satin ribbon down my card on the edge of the embossing. I attached the image to pink card before adding it to my card blank. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut die and mounted it onto pink ovals.

Daffodil Birthday Card

I have matt and layered my card with yellow and then blue gingham card.

I have added lace down my card and then yellow card and blue satin ribbon. I added a Hobby House image that I have cut with a Xcut scalloped circle die from a nesting set.

I used the same scalloped circle dies on the opposite of my card for the sentiment. I completed my card with daffodils and Tonic Nuvo drops. I cut the daffodils with a Leane Creatief.

Birthday Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink and white card.

I die cut the valance and trellis using Cheery Lynn dies. I attached these elements to my card with wet glue. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with an oval from a Presscut nesting set. I attached this sentiment onto a pink oval before attaching it to my card.

I completed my card with a Morehead image.
