Husband Birthday Card

A birthday card for my father-in-law a true Welsh man.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card wth red and white embossed card. I have rounded all the corners with a punch. I have cut the elements of the toppers and assembled them with foam pads. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Sizzix scalloped heart die and then cut the next size in the nesting set in red. I attached the hearts to the card and then added the topper.

Mother's Day card

A Mother's Day card. 

This is a quick and easy card but always popular.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with purple card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I die cut the shoes with a Tattered Lace die and the flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die. When making cards like this I cut the coloured card, (in this case the purple card) to size then cut the die cut embellishments in the centre of the square to save on card. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die and then cut the next size in the nesting set in purple to mount the sentiment. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

High top card

Firstly please excuse the poor photo. I took it quickly with my phone yesterday because this was a quick make because a neighbour didn't give me much notice.

I simply covered my 8x8in card with spotty paper from Anna Marie. I die cut the high tops with  a Die -namics die in light blue and white card, I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle die, I die cut the next size in the set in blue to mount the sentiment. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Easter card

An Easter card for my niece. I have printed various digi images. I cut the images and inked the edges. I covered by 8x8in easel card with pink card on the top and green card on the bottom. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate die and then inked the edges. I assembled my card using double sided tape and foam pads for the stopper for the easel.

Deer card

I have covered my 8x8in white card with pink card. I embossed white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder and put that on the top of my card. I trimmed layers of green card to fit onto my card blank and cut into them with a die to create grass. I die cut the fence in brown using a Memory Box die. I die cut the deer using Marianne dies. I die cut the tree using a Memory Box die and added flowers cut with a Cheery Lynn die to the tree, The flowers on the grass are cut with a punch.

Girl on swing card

I have used a decoupage topper and paper from a DoCrafts Gorjuss topper and paper pack.
I covered my 8x8in white scalloped edge card with burgundy paper from the Gorguss pack. I made up the decoupage with foam pads. I used a scrap of Anna Marie spotty card and embossed white card and attached them down the centre of my card. I die cut the lattice in black and white using a Cheery Lynn die. I glued these to my card slightly offsetting them to create a drop shadow. I cut two ovals, one in the same burgundy paper as before and the small one in white. I used dies from a Presscut nesting set for this. I die cut the sentiment using a Cheery Lynn die and added that to the oval. I added the ovals to the lattice then added the Gorjuss topper. I then completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Pretty girl card

I have printed The My Bestie image and coloured with Spectrum Noir pencils. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white scalloped card with pink and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut the image using a Tonic rectangular die and mounted it on pink card. I die cut the fence and grass using Memory Box dies and added small pink flowers cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I die cut the branch with a Memory Box die and added leaves that I cut with a punch and larger flowers that I cut with the same Cheery Lynn die as I used for the smaller flowers. I die cut the tag in white using a Joy die. I die cut the sentiment with a Cheery Lynn die and glued it onto the tag. I embellished the tag with satin ribbon and pearl strands and then attached it to my card with 3D foam. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Nanna Mother's Day card

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered the top and bottom with pink and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I have used a Xcut die set to make the family tree. I have used brown, green and pink card for the tree and pink and brown card for the banner. I have printed the names and then die cut them into hearts, For the grass I used a Memory Box die and for the flowers on the grass I used a Cheery Lynn die. 

I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic Studios rectangular die and then cut the next size in the nesting size in pink. I attached the pink rectangle with 3d form so it will act as the stopper. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Dragon Card

This card if for my DT post over at http://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.co.uk/ the challenge is For a man.

These cards are the ones I find most difficult.

The card I have made is a Welsh Happy Birthday Card. This dragon is very popular for the Welsh men and boys I make cards for.

                               

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and green card, I have embossed white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I added a strip of the embossed card to my project and then added red satin ribbon to the ends of the embossing. I die cut a red dragon with a Sweet Dixie die and attached it to a white circle and then attached that to a green circle. I die cut these with Tonic dies for different sets. I die cut the sentiment with a Tattered Lace die then added it to a pierced flag cut with a Sue Wilson die. To complete my card I added red stars that a cut with a punch

Wilson

Underwear Valentine's card

I was so pleased today. This was the first card I have had shown on the television. My sons girlfriend was as pleased as me because "my card was on the tele!"

Teddy new baby card

This is a New Baby card using the Tonic Studios teddy die. 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder/ I cut the lattice using a Cheery Lynn die. I cut it in tan and pink card and slightly offset them when sticking them to the card. I die cut the teddy in tan and pink and the bow in red and then pieced the pieces together. I die cut the oval using a Presscut die and then added the sentiment which I cut with a Tonic Studios die again cut in tan and pink and slightly offset when sticking down. I completed my card by adding flat backed pearls on the lattice.

Monkey Valentine's Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. 

I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Sizzix heart die, I die cut a red heart with the next size in the nesting set of scalloped hearts. I die cut the monkeys using Marianne dies. I assembled the monkeys and added them to the card with the hearts. I die cut the smallest heart in the Sizzix nesting set in red card and added a die cut sentiment using letters from a Xcut die and a very small heart from a SueWilson die. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Girlfriend Personalised Valentine's Card

I have made this card using Groovi plates. I have used the bra and knickers plate and Pergamano tools. I have used red parchment for the bows. I have embellished the bra and knickers with hearts. These hearts come attached on a roll like ribbon but I have cut them individually so they will be a neater fit.  I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Sizzix die and then die cut the next size in the nesting set in red to mount the sentiment. I have made an A4 card and covered it with spotty card from Anna Marie and then attached the elements. In the corners of the card I have cut the smallest size heart from the nesting set in white card and added one of the hearts to match the ones on the bra and knickers. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops on the scalloped heart.

Auntie birthday card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I used glittery washi tape down the edge of the white embossed card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Sizzix scalloped heart die. I die cut the next size in the nesting set in pink to mount the sentiment. I have used an image from a Hunkydory Little book and mounted it on pink card. I assembled my hearts and added them to the card and then added the image. I completed the card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Birthday card for my best friend

1. 

I have used a 8x8in scalloped edge white card. I have cut the front in half. I have covered the facing inside with spotty card from Anna Marie. I have cut out my images and inked the edges. I mounted the main image on spotty card and then on peachy pink card. I cut the friends sentiment out and layered out onto the spotty card and added the pink flowers. I added both of these to the front overhanging the edge. I added more flowers to the bottom corner of the card. To complete the card I have added flat backed self adhesive gems.

Mam birthday card

A birthday card for a Mam. Lots of Mothers in Wales are called Mam but it is very difficult to buy greetings cards. They are very few and far between and if you do find one they are very basic. My sons girlfriend requested this one for her Mam.

I have used a My Bestie image and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir pencils. I then die cut the image with a circle Go Kreate die. I covered my 8x8in white card with Anna Marie gingham card and added a strip of yellow card with satin ribbon down the card. I die cut flowers in yellow card and embellished them with buttons. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with Joy tag.

CAS Valentines Card

A delicate, clean and simple Valentine's card.  I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink  card and white card. The white card on the bottom has been embossed with Tattered Lace embossing folders. I have added pink satin ribbon to the embossing. I have die cut the heart with a Tattered Lace die. I completed my card with flat backed pearls

Floral Mother's Day card

This is my project for my DT post over at Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper 

I have used patterned paper to cover my 8x8in white card. I have slit the patterned paper at the top and curled it sightly with my fingers. Underneath this I have attached red card to my card blank. I have used various embellishments to great a floral design on my card. These embellishments include paper roses, organza ribbon and the following embellishments from Anna Marie, flowers buds spray, micro beaded strawberries, moss and pearl strands. I have printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die. I completed my card with a die cut butterfly (Cheery Lynn die) and Tonic Nuvo drops.
