Reindeer Christmas Card

 

I have been busy making Christmas cards. Whenever I think my Christmas cards are nearly done one of my sons or husband ask me to make more. My son asked for 10 cards last night!

I have matt and layered my 8x8in card with red card and then patterned paper from my stash.

I made the reindeer using elements from the Lisa Horton sheep die,  a Cheery Lynn branch die and a small circle die from a nesting set. I used a stamp and die from a Lisa Horton set for the sentiment.

Birthday Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with black card and then pink embossed card. 

I die cut the heart element  in black and red card and assembled them before attaching it to my card using foam pads. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Sue Wilson banner die. I completed my card with lots of  Tonic Nuvo drops.

Teddy Exploding Box

 

Christmas tree decorations are the perfect size for in the inside of an exploding box.

I have made the exploding box using cream card and my score board. I added various die cut embellishments which I cut with Kraft card. 

I used a corners punch on all corners. I added the teddy into the centre with hot glue.

60th Birthday Card

 

I  matt and layered my 8x8in white card with mirror card and white embossed card. I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder.  I have used a Crafters Companion curved edge'able sentiment die. I paper pieced the sentiment and floral elements. The perfume bottles are made using a Crafters Companion stamp and die set. I coloured the bottles with Spectrum Noir pens. I completed the card with the recipients age which I cut with Tattered Lace dies and added them to scalloped circles before adding them to my card.

Teddy Birthday Card

 

I have covered my 8x8in white card with polka dot card. I used a page from a Hunkydory little book and mounted it on yellow card before adding to my card. I have used a Crafters Companion die set to cut the Happy Birthday element. I attached this to my card with foam pads.

From our house to yours Christmas Card

 

I find paper piecing very therapeutic and this Sue Wilson stained glass window die is perfect for that technique. I have die cut the window in white, gold, red and green to create this effect. I mounted the white window onto gold card before adding all the die cut elements, I completed the window with flat backed pearls. 

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with gold card and then white embossed card. I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut the sentiment using a Sue Wilson die. I added the sentiment to die cut ovals which I cut with Go Kreate dies. I added the paper pieced window and then the ovals to my card. I completed the card with a die cut poinsettia which I cut with a Tattered Lace die.

Ice skate Christmas card

 

Every year I get asked to make Christmas cards with these ice skates. I have used a Stamps by Chloe stamp to make the ice skates. I stamped the image onto white card and cut the "blades" in mirror card for a realistic finish. I added a die cut holly embellishment with flat backed gems on the front of the skates. I stamped and die cut the candy in white card and then coloured the stripes with a red pen. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card blank with mirror card and then red glitter card. I die cut a sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and added to the toppers I cut with dies from a Spellbinders nesting set before attaching to my card. I attached the skates to my card using foam pads. I completed my card with snowflakes cut with a Cheery Lynn die.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then white embossed card. I used a Crafts Too embossing folder. I die cut the trellis effect with a Tonic die. I used Marianne dies to cut the candles and poinsettia. I used a Cheery Lynn die to cut the holly flourish. I assembled the design and completed it with pearl embellishments on the poinsettia and Tonic nuvo drops on the embossing.

Mr and Mrs Claus

 

This is my DT post for craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

I have matt and layered my 8x8in card with red card and then red gingham card and embossed card. I rounded the corners on these layers. I have used a Crafts Too embossing folder. 

I attached satin ribbon across the centre of the card. I have used a Crafts Too die to cut the sentiment. I used Tonic dies to cut the Mr & Mrs Claus.

  

I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops
