Christmas Star

After seeing a creation on the T.V. I found a video by Crafters Companion on YouTube to help me make this creation. I have used white 5x7in cards. I cut 5 gold pieces of card measuring 9.5in by 7in and scored them down the centre. I die cut the Create-a-card dies into the gold card. I attached the gold card inside the white cards by attaching the edges which results in there being a gap between the layers at the crease because the gold piece of card is 1/2in shorter. I attached all 5 cards together. When the star is closed like a book I have wrapped satin ribbon around the book with red liner tape. I added the gold embossed card onto the cover over the ribbon. I added strips of white card on the sides of the die cut area along with the satin ribbon. I added die cut holly and snowflakes to the white areas and embellished them with gems and pearls.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink and tan card. I have cut lengths of green card with a Memory Box grass die. I attached white embossed card on the top of my card before adding layers of grass on the bottom of my card. I then added a fence that I cut with a Memory Box die and completed the layers with another layer of grass. I die cut the tree using a Memory Box die and added small pink flowers that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die. I cut three deer with a Marianne die set and attached them to my card amongst the grass. I added bigger flowers (cut with a punch) to co mplete my card.

Father's Day pop up box

I have made this box using an 30cm by 15cm piece of white card.

I scored the card at 7cm, 14cm and 28cm

I scored width of the card at 7cm

I used the 2cm on the end of the scored card as a glue tab. On the top section of the box cut this section away.

Attach strips of card inside the box. Cut 9cm strips and score 1cm one each side and these will be your glue tabs.

I attached acetate to the strips to add my embellishments. I have used various die cuts. I printed personalised sentiments and attached them to the box.

First Christmas Card for 2020

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white cream card with gold mirri card, red card and cream embossed card. I used  a Sue Wilson embossing folder.

I made the poinsettia using Marianne dies. I die cut the sentiment with an Elizabeth craft designs die.  I put the sentiment onto a cream oval that I cut with a Presscut die from a nesting set. I used the next sized die in the nesting set to cut an oval using gold mirri card and attached them to my card. I added the holly flourish that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die before adding the poinsettia. I added embellishments to the centre of the poinsettia and Tonic Nuvo drops onto the embossing and onto the holly flourish for the berries.

New Baby Keepsake

I made this baby gift for a new baby boy whose Daddy is an avid Welsh rugby supporter.

The box fame measures 8x8in and is from The Range. I also purchased the large letters from The Range. I found the three feathers image online, printed it and die cut it with a rectangular die from a Tonic nesting set. I mounted this onto kraft card.

I used red card for the background and attached the large letters, spelling the new baby's Christian name across the top of my layout. I then added the three feathers image. I printed the personalised details and cut them with a banner die by Sue Wilson. I attached these to my layout. I completed the layout with the die cut rugby ball and boots cut with Sweet Dixie dies.

Personalised Birthday Card

I made this card for a neighbour who is spending her birthday alone due to lock down. We couldn't even see her in the garden because of the rain.

I covered my 8x8in white card with red card and then half of my card with white embossed card. I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I added the dotty ribbon and the image from a Hunkydory book that I mounted onto red card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a nesting set.
