Pig 13th Birthday Card

I was asked to make a 13th birthday card with a pig. I have so many different animal dies but no pig! So have used circle and oval dies to create the pig.

I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and then patterned paper and white paper with a personalised printed sentiment. I added some gingham trim across the centre of my card. I cut the balloons with Tonic dies and added the number that I cut with Tattered Lace dies.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Twinkle twinkle little star Christening Card

I have been asked to make a personalised Christening card with a Twinkle, twinkle little star theme.

I have made an 8x8in twisted easel card. I matt and layered the top and base with pink and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I used Tonic dies to cut the large corner elements. I printed the words of the nursery rhyme and a personalised sentiment and die cut them with a Spellbinders scalloped circle die. I used the next sixe in the nesting set to cut pink scalloped circles  to mount them. I attached these to my card, I attached the circle on the base with 3D foam pads so it will act as the stopper for the easel.  I used little dies from The Range to cut the moon and star elements. I added small stars that I cut with a punch. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Key 18th Birthday card

This is my DT project for the challenge of at movingalongwiththetimes.

I have matt and layered a scalloped 8x8in white card with purple card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I attached the embossed paper to the bottom half of my card. I attached crochet embellishment across the centre of my card. I bought the silver key embellishment from Home Bargains, I attached that to my card with hot glue and then added flowers. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. I then used the next size in the nesting set to cut a purple and then likewise for a another white oval. I attached these to my card. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Grandpa Father's Day Card

I have matt and layered an A4 card with tan, brown and then white card. I die cut the monkeys using a set of dies by Marianne. I attached a paper embellishment from my stash across my card front and then hung the monkeys on it sticking them to the card with P.V.A glue. I die cut the little square with a die from a nesting set from The Works. I added the letters to spell Grandpa that I cut with a Xcut die. I printed a sentiment and die cut it with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set and then using the next size in the nesting set I cut a tan oval to mount my sentiment before attaching it to my card.

New Baby Card

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered the top and bottom with pink card and then white embossed card down one side of the top and bottom. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I attached burlap down the centre of the top and the bottom. I then attached pink satin ribbon on top of the burlap. I die cut the vest and bib with Sue Wilson dies and attached them to the top of the card. I printed the personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a nesting set from The Works. I cut the next size in pink card to mount the sentiment. I printed the baby's weight and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set and then cut the next size in the set and attached the white oval before attaching it to the card. I die cut the large bib with a Marianne die and used a Xcut die to cut the letters to add the baby's name to the bib. I printed personalised details to add to the base of the card and die cut them. I attached the large bib to my card using foam pads so the bib will act as a stopper. I completed my card with pearl embellishments.

Sweet cones

I purchased the cellophane cones and personalised stickers only. I went to a sweet warehouse to buy a variety of pink and white sweets.

I made up the sweet cones and sealed the top with some thread

The basket is from Dunelm. I attached the die cuts on the outside edge of the lining around the basket with a hot glue gun. I die cut them with a Sue Wilson. I then attached the satin ribbon and the pearl embellishments with hot glue. I scanned one of the stickers and enlarged it so I could print it to attach to the front of the basket. I die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle die from a nesting set and then die cut a pink scalloped circle with the next size in the nesting set. I attached  these to the basket. I then added  the sweet cones to the basket.

Personalised Wedding Hangers

The bride wanted hangers for her dress and her two bridesmaid dresses.

I bought the padded hangers. I printed personalised sentiments and die cut them with a die from a nesting set from The Works. I then cut the next size in the nesting set in pink card to mount the sentiment. I punched a hole in these so I could thread some satin ribbon through and then tie it onto the hanger. I attached a rose embellishment to the brides hanger and pearl hearts to the bridesmaids hangers.

Brides Lucky Sixpence

I made this to give the Lucky Sixpence to my best friend on her wedding day

I used a small plain white box. I printed the well known rhyme and cut it into a narrow strip to fit around the box. I also added some pink satin ribbon. I attached the lace and pearl trim around the lid.

I attached the final part of the rhyme to the lid of the box. I die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle die and layered it onto a pink scalloped circle that I cut with the next size die in the nesting set.

I printed a personalised sentiment and attached it to the inside of the lid of the box.

I covered a piece of cotton wool with tulle to attach to the inside of the box with a hot glue gun and then added the peg embellishment. I covered the sixpence with tulle to enable me to "peg" it into the box.

Box for Wedding Cards

I made this box for wedding cards for the wedding I made stationery for.

I used a basket with a lid that I bought from Dunelm. I used a Sue Wilson die to die cut the elements that are attached to the lining on the box. The is the same die that I used for the invitations. I attached these with my hot glue gun and then attached pink satin ribbon along the top of the die cuts and then added the pearl embellishments. I used the satin ribbon to tie lengths between the top and base so the top will stand up. I then added more of the fancy die cuts and satin ribbon diagonally across the top. I printed the letters individually and die cut them using the Die'sire Create a Card Stacey Base nesting dies. I cut the two tone pinks in the next sizes in the set. I attached the Marianne die cut above the letters and then trimmed the edge before attaching all the layers together. I then added the pearl embellishments with hot glue. The letters match the place settings and the table numbers.

Wedding table number

I used the Die'sire Create a Card Stacey Base nesting dies to make the table numbers. I used the largest size and linen card to make the base and cut the edge with my guillotine. I used the next size in the nesting set to cut the pink layer after cutting the edge with my guillotine I attached it to the base layer. I printed the Table 5 and die cut it with the next size down in the nesting set. I die cut the lacy element with a Marianne die. I attached that to the final layer and trimmed the edges before attaching it to the pink layer. I then completed with the pearl embellishment. I made two for each table to add back to back in the stand.

Guest book

This is a Guest Book I made for special friends. They tied the knot last Thursday. I used the Tonic Memory Book dies to create this

This project has been used for my DT post over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper

Lots of people asked me "how long did it take you to make it?", it took a while but I loved every minute of it and to hear the guests reactions was priceless.

I have used Tonic Studios
Memory Book dies and numerous other dies to decorate my book. The one on the cover is a Sue Wilson die which I also used on the invitations. I also used the satin ribbon and embellishment to match the invitations.
