Son birthday card

This is card for my Father-in-law do give my husband for his birthday.  I have covered my 8x8in white card with brown card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I added hessian trim where the brown card and embossed card meet,  I mounted the image  with brown card and then added it to my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with an oval die from a Presscut nesting die set. I used the next size in the nesting set to cut a brown

oval to mount the sentiment and then added it to my card.

Floral Wedding Card

Another wedding card. This is the card I made to send myself.

I have matt and layered the top and bottom of my 8x8in white easel card with pink then white card. I have die cut the panels for the top of my card with a Sue Wilson striplet die. I have cut 3 panels and attached them to white card. I added satin ribbon where the strips meet. I attached the completed element to the top of my card with foam pads. Using the Sara Davies Bridal Bouquet die I have made the roses in pink card and cut the foliage in green and white. I die cut the sentiment using a Tonic die and added it to a white oval that I cut with a Presscut die from a nesting set. I die cut a pink oval with the next die in the nesting set to mount the white oval.

I attached the ovals to the striplets and then assembled the floral embellishments using a hot glue gun.

I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Tonic rectangle die from a nesting set and attached it to a pink rectangle. I attached these to the base of my card using foam pads so it will act as a stopper for the easel.  I printed the date and venue and die cut it with a Presscut die and added that to the base of my card.

I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Fisherman Birthday Card

I have made an 8x8in easel card. I have matt and layered the top and the bottom with green card and then kraft embossed card. I embossed the kraft card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I printed the sentiments and die cut them with dies from a Tonic nesting die set. I printed the next sizes in the set in kraft and green card. I attached the rectangles on the base of the card with foam pads so they will act as the stopper for the top. I printed an image and added it to the top of my card. I cut the green stars with a punch and added them to the embossed background.

Exploding box with cake

I have been asked to make this exploding box with a wedding card inside for a friend.

I have used the colour scheme of the wedding. I made the box using the measurements that you will find in the tutorials on my blog. I used navy card on the inside of my box and navy and white patterned paper on the outside of my box.

I printed personalised details including names, date and venue.

I printed the details and die cut them with dies from a set from The Works. I used the next size in the nesting set and navy card to cut elements so I could mount the white card with details.

I added these to each side of the box.

I made the 3D cake using circles and strips of white card.

I added satin ribbon and lace trim around the cake and added small paper flowers on the cake and on to each side of the box. I die cut a scalloped circle with a Xcut die and attached that to the centre of my box and then added the cake. I completed my box with flat backed pearls

Wedding card

I have matt and layered an A4 card with pink and then white card. I die cut two valance in pink and a trellis in pink and a trellis in white all using Cheery Lynn dies. I attached the valance to the top and bottom of my card. I attached the trellis to a piece of white card slightly offsetting the two colours. I then attached this piece of card to my card using foam pads. I attached the couple (which I cut with a Cheery Lynn die) to this trellis element. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Presscut oval die from a nesting set. Using the next size in the nesting set I cut a pink oval to mount the sentiment. I attached this to the card using foam pads. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

RSVP

A very clean and simple RSVP. Somebody asked me to make one in pink and white to match the colour scheme of the wedding. I have matt and layered a 5x7in white card with pink card and then white card which has RSVP printed on it. I die cut the heart in pink using a Tattered Lace die and then attached it to my card.

Sister birthday card

I have matt and layered an 8x8in white card with pink card and then patterned paper on the bottom and white embossed card on the top. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. After attaching the layers to my card and added satin ribbon across the centre of my card.

I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with part of a Sue Wilson die set and then cut the other elements out in pink and white. I assembled these elements and then added it to the centre of my card. I completed my card with flat backed pearls

Wedding card for Mum & Dad

A card for one of my Nieces to give her Mum & Dad on their wedding day.

I have matt and layered the top and bottom of my A4 easel card with pink card and then white embossed card. I have printed the Mr & Mrs and then die cut the letters individually with a die from a Die'sire create a card die. Then cut the same shape in the next size up in the die set in pink card to mount the letters. I added the floral decorated pegs before attaching them to my card. I used foam pads to level the letters out because the pegs were bulky.  I added hot glue on the glue pads to secure.

I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a die from a Tonic Nesting set and die cut a pink rectangle with the next size in the set to mount my sentiment. I added this to the base of my card using foam pads so it will act as the stopper for the easel.

Auntie Birthday card

A personalised birthday card for my sons to give my sister-in-law for her birthday.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and then green and white gingham card from Anna Marie. I have used a topper from Hobbyhouse and attached it to a die cut red circle and a die cut tan scalloped circle. I attached a strip of red and gingham card down my card before adding a burlap and lace embellishment. I added my topper to my card. I die cut a personalised printed sentiment with a Sue Wilson banner die and cut the next size up in the set in red to mount the sentiment. I attached these banners to my card before adding various embellishments including beaded strawberries and pearl strands from Anna Marie, paper roses from my local artificial floral supplies and flat backed gems.

Football coach Thank You Card

A card for my sons football coach. All prepared to take to the match tomorrow so everybody can sign it.

I have printed a personalised sentiment and a football badge for the club that the recipient supports. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with black card and white card with the personalised sentiment. I have added a strip of black across the centre of my card. The image has been die cut with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set and then added to a black oval that has been cut with next size die in the nesting set. I attached the ovals to my card. The stars that I added to complete my card have been cut using a punch.

Gardening card

This is a card for my DT post over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with green card and then added a strip of green and white gingham card. I added an image from a Hunky Dory book and mounted that onto tan card before adding to my card. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut that with an oval die from a Presscut nesting set. I then attached it to a larger tan oval cut with the next size in the nesting set. I attached this to my card. I die cut the watering can in mirror card using a Marianne die.
