Skateboarder card

 This is my project for my DT post at movingalongwiththetimes

A birthday for one of my friends son. I always find male cards a challenge. 

This is a Hobbyhouse topper that I have mounted on blue card. 

I have printed a sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate die and then cut the next size in the set in a dark blue. I cut the numbers using Marianne dies in the light and dark blue 

I covered my 8x8in card with patterned paper from my stash. I added a strip of blue card down my card and added bakers twine to it/ I assembled the die cut elements. I added the numbers slightly offsetting them when attaching them.

I completed my card with stars that I cut with a punch

Penguin Christmas card

I have used an 8x8in white card and matt and layered it with red card and then white card. The white card on the top I have embossed with the Embossalicious 8x8in Star of Wonder embossing folder and I added white card cut wavy on the bottom of my card. I have die cut four penguins using a Dovecraft  die then added them to my card at various angles and then paper pieced the elements. I added scarves to two of the penguins that I cut with a Yvonne Creations die. I also cut the igloo with a Yvonne Creations die. I die cut the snowflakes with a Cheery Lynn die after adding them to my card I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Christmas Gift Bag

I am so organised with my Christmas cards this year it is giving me an opportunity to try to make other items for Christmas. 

I have used Kanban items that are in my stash to make a gift bag. 

 I have covered the front and back of my bag with patterned paper and then added a reindeer embellishment. I die cut the banners with Sue Wilson dies and the sentiment with Tattered Lace dies.

I completed my gift bag with a bow on the reindeer.

Cute birthday card

I have used an 8x8in scalloped white card and matt and layered it with red card and green and white gingham card. I distressed and inked the edges before attaching them to my card. I then cut strips of the red and gingham card and distress and inked the edges before attaching them to my card. I added hessian and lace ribbon to the these strips. I have used a Lili of the Valley topper, I inked the edges before attaching it to a circle that I cut with a Tonic die. I have embellished my card with roses, berries and pearl strands and some flat backed pearls. I have die cut the tags with Sue Wilson dies, I will add a personalised sentiment to the tag.

Christmas gift bag

I have used a bag which is part of a multipack I bought from The Range.

I have used patterned paper and a poinsettia from a Kanban set.

I covered the back and front of my bag with the patterned paper. Then I made the poinsettia up using the die cut flowers from the Kanban set, I then made a tag using Sue Wilson dies, I die cut it using turquoise card and then kraft card. I added the sentiment that I cut in red using Tattered Lace dies.

Bunny Birthday Card

I have covered my 8x8in white card with gingham card. I have added a strip of white embossed card that I embossed with a Crafts Too embossing folder. On each side of the embossed card I have attached self adhesive ribbon. I die cut the scalloped hearts with dies from a Sizzix Nesting Set.  I printed a personalised sentiment to die cut. I created the rabbit with a die from Tonic Studios. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

Wedding Invitation

A Wedding Invitation sample.

I have used a 5x7in white card and matt and layered it with purple card and white embossed card. I have used an Embossalicious embossing folder. I die cut the horse and carriage using a Tattered Lace die. I then printed "Wedding Invitation" and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die. I then cut the next size in the nesting set of scalloped ovals in purple to mount. I added some flat backed pearls.

Wedding Invitation

I have used a white 5x7in card. I matt and layered it with turquoise card and white card, I printed on the white card before I cut it to size. I added a piece of white embossed card across the centre. I used an Embossalicious folder. I  added a pearl embellishment. I completed my card with a die cut butterfly that I cut with a Cheery Lynn die.

Cutie Christmas card

I have used a Lili of the Valley image and coloured it with Spectrum Noir pencils. I then cut it out with a Go Kreate circle die. I covered my scalloped edged 8x8in white card with red card and then added red gingham card and black card. I attached my image then added a die cut lamp cut with a Britannia die and a tree cut with a Spellbinders die. I attached various floral embellishments and ribbon from my stash. I then completed my card with flat backed gems.

Santa Christmas Card

I'm loving these colours at the moment. I have used my scraps from my scrap box to make this card.

I have used a Sizzix die for the Santa and attached it to an oval that I cut with a Presscut die. I have covered my card with kraft card and spotty card from Anna Marie. I attached ribbon across the centre of my card. I die cut the sentiment using a Crafts Too die and attached to the bottom of my card. A simple card but ideal to use my scraps and for my son to give to friends.

Quick and easy new baby card

I wanted to make a quick card today. I didn't have much time but we needed a New Baby card.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with pink card and white embossed card. I used a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I die cut two lattice using a Cheery Lynn die. I cut it in pink and tan. I slightly offset them when sticking them to my card to create a drop shadow. I then added a white oval cut with a Presscut die. I added the sentiment that I cut with a Tonic Studios die. I die cut the teddies with a Tonic Studio die. I paper pieced the teddies. I completed my card with flat backed pearls.

A Welsh Birthday Card

My Welsh speaking son wanted a Welsh card for his mate.  

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card wirh red and green card. I have added embossed white card down the centre. I used an Embossalicious Picnic Plaid embossing folder. On both sides of the embossed card I have added red satin ribbon. I die cut the banner with a Sue Wilson die and added the sentiment that I cut with Tattered Lace dies. I attached that to my card with foam pads. I die cut the dragon using a Sweet Dixie die and added that to white and green circles.

I completed my card with stars I cut using a punch

Tartan Christmas Card

I have made an 8x8in white easel. I have covered the top and bottom with patterned paper I had free with a magazine and red plain card. I added satin ribbon along the top and bottom of my card. I have added a strip of green card with satin ribbon on the bottom to act as the stopper for the easel. 

I have die cut the baubles with Spellbinders dies. I embossed the baubles with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I die cut the poinsettia with Tattered Lace dies. I assembled my baubles and poinsettia and added narrow satin gold ribbon. I embellished my baubles with tiny flat backed pearls and added a pearl embellishment to the centre of my poinsettia. I die cut the ovals with Presscut dies. The white oval with include a personalised sentiment closer to Christmas

Parchment work in progress

Nadolig Llawen Tag

I have used a die from a Die'sire create a card nesting set. The dies are designed to make cards so the one side doesn't cut but that is easy to solve I just cut it with my guillotine. I have cut the tag in kraft card then the next layer in parchment card. I die cut the sentiment with a Tattered Lace die and die cut a reindeer. I inked the edges of all my elements then assembled my tag. I then completed my tag with embellishments from my stash.

Strawberry birthday card

This is a card I made with the lovely patterned papers from Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine.

I have made an 8x8in white easel card. I have covered the top and the bottom of the card with patterned paper. I cut some tags from the paper selection. I mounted the tags and embellished them with ribbon. I used self adhesive crochet ribbon across the top and the bottom. This then acted as the stopper on the bottom of the card. I die cut some ovals with Presscut dies and added a sentiment cut with a Tonic die. I completed my card with buttons from my stash.

Wreath Christmas Card

I have made a 8x8in white easel card. I have covered both the top and bottom with green embossed card. I embossed the card using an Embossalicious embossing folder. I have used a wreath I had from Hobbycraft in the clearance after Christmas last year. I have decorated with various embellishments from my stash. The mistletoe is from Hobbycraft, the berries are from Anna Marie and the roses from The Range. I attached these using a glue gun. I die cut the sentiment using a Elizabeth Craft die and added it to a oval cut with a Presscut die and then attached that to another red oval cut with the next size oval in the nesting set. I attached that to my card using mounting foam. I have used a white and red strip of card with red satin ribbon for the stopper then added ovals cut with the same nesting set as before. These will include a personalised sentiment closer to Christmas/ I completed with Tonic Nuvo drops as berries on my embossed background.

Angel Christmas Card

This card is for my DT post over at movingalongwiththetimes

I have matt and layered my 8x8in cream card with black and then gold card. I have rounded the edges of these these layers and inked the edges of the gold layer. I have die cut the angel using a Sue Wilson in both black and gold card. I glued the angels together slightly offsetting them. I then inked around the edges and attached it to my card only at the body, head and arms using 3D foam pads. I die cut the "Joy" using a Sue Wilson die, cutting the fancy element in gold and the solid element in black. I have glued these together and then inked them before attaching them to my card using 3D foam pads. I die cut the poinsettia in gold using  Tattered Lace dies, I inked all the edges before assembling them. I attached them to my card and then added flat backed pearls to them. I completed my card by adding flat backed pearls and ribbon.

Poinsettia Christmas card

This is my first card using the Sue Wilson Twinkle Star frames.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with gold card and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card using a Sue Wilson embossing folder.  I die cut the larger Sue Wilson Twinkle Star frame in white and the smaller frame in gold and assembled them onto my card. I die cut the scalloped oval with a Go Kreate die and added that over the centre of the gold twinkle frame. I added poinsettia that I cut with Tattered Lace dies and Star Sprays that I cut with a Sue Wilson. I die cut the banner also with a Sue Wilson die and added the sentiment cut with Tattered Lace diesbeofre adding it to my card with 3D foam pads. I completed my card with flat packed pearls.

Another 50th birthday card

This is a card for my DT post over at http://craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper.blogspot.co.uk/

This is another card for my brother-in- law. My Mother-in-law has asked me to make a card for him. I thought I should think of another theme this time. 

He is an avid supporter of his local rugby team so I decided to work around that.

I have printed a club badge that I have found on the internet. I have used green and yellow because they are the team colours. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with yellow then green card. I have used some green and white gingham card down the centre. I die cut the badge using a Tonic die from a nesting set and then cut the green and the yellow in the next sizes up in the nesting set. I die cut the numbers and cup with Marianne dies. I printed a personalised sentiment and die it with a Sweet Dixie die. I assembled these elements onto my card. I completed my card with some stars I that I cut with a punch.
