Birthday card for footballer

I have made this card for one of my sons school mats who plays football for one of our local clubs.

I have printed an image of the club badge and die cut it with a Tonic die. I have die cut elements to pick out the colours from the badge. The yellow has been cut with a Tonic trellis die, I placed the badge on this. I matt and layered my card with red and white card. I attached a band of red card with striped ribbon down my card. I die cut the 14 with Marianne dies and attached them to the bottom corner. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a presscut die and cut the next size in blue to mount my sentiment. I cut the trophy with a Marianne die using mirror card for a realistic look. I completed my card with die cut football boots

50th Birthday Card

Back to crafting and blogging today after the Christmas holiday.

I had an order for a 50th birthday card so had to get back to it

I have used a 8x8in white card and cut the side of the card with the Tonic Studios Entwining Trellis Radiant Roselily die. I matt and layered the card with purple and white card, I cut the edge of the purple and white card with the edge cutting die from the Tonic Trellis die. I embossed the white card with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval die, I layered it on a purple scalloped oval, cut with the next size in the nesting set. I cut the flowers from the Tonic set in purple card and added them to my card. I added flat backed pearls to embellish my card. I cut the ovals again for the inside of the card and added "50th" cut with Tattered Lace dies.

Friend Christmas Card

I have used the Tattered Lace essentials book die to cut the base elements for this card. I embossed the white pages with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I attached this to a white A4 card. 

I die cut the wreath with a Xcut die several times and layered it and added the Noel sentiment, die cut with a Tonic die. I die cut the poinsettia with Tattered Lace dies. I added the poinsettia to the wreath and completed with Tonic Nuvo drops. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate scalloped oval and layered it on a red scalloped oval, I cut this with the next size die in the nesting set. I added a die cut poinsettia to this oval. I decorated the oval with Tonic Nuvo drops. I die cut a sentiment to add to the "bookmark" then completed it with ribbon

I have been preparing wreaths. I have made the wreaths with a Xcut die. I have die cut the poinsettia with Tattered Lace dies. I will add the Noel to the centre of the wreaths. I have die cut those with a Tonic die. 

Bauble Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red an white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I die cut the scalloped circle with Xcut dies. The white circle includes a personalised sentiment. I die cut the bauble with Spellbinders dies. I embossed the elements of the bauble with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I embellished my bauble with a die cut poinsettia (cut with a Marianne die), organza ribbon, a snowflake sparkly gem from Chloe.s Creative cards and finally Tonic Nuvo drops

Noel Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I rounded the edges of the card and  the layers with a punch. I die cut the scalloped circle with a Xcut die from a nesting set. I have cut the white circle with a Tonic die. I have die cut the wreath with a Sizzix die. I cut several wreaths to build up layers for a realistic look. I die cut the poinsettia with Tattered Lace dies and the Noel with a Tonic die. I assembled the layers with double sided tape, I assembled the wreath with mini foam pads and the added the poinsettia with PVA. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops. Red on the wreath for "berries" and gold on the embossing

Elf Christmas Card

I made this card tonight for one of my neighbours. I needed something suitable for a man.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with green and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I die cut the lattice in red using a Cheery Lynn die. I die cut the oval with a Presscut die and then added the sentiment. I die cut the elf with a Tonic die.

Wise Men Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with gold card and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. I die cut the strip with a Sue Wilson Wise men striplet die. I die cut the image in gold and the background in white. I have cut a gold circle using a Tonic die and the white circle is also cut with a Tonic die, this will include a personalised sentiment. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with blue and white embossed card. I have used a Creative Expression embossing folder. I have used Xcut dies to cut the scalloped circles in blue and white. I then cut a blue circle using a Go Kreate die then cut a white circle with the same die. I cut into the white circle with a scene die by Marianne. I cut yellow card to fit behind the windows of the scene, I then attached this white semi circle to the blue circle. I cut trees in white card using Spellbinders dies and attached them to the scene. I cut snowflakes using a Cheery Lynn die and added them to the scene. I die cut the banner with Sue Wilson dies, the white banner will include a personalised sentiment. I have added Tonic Nuvo drops to my card.

Christmas scene card

This is my card for my DT post at http://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.co.uk/

 

I have used a 8x8in card. I have scored two pieces of 8in tall white card three times, then folded them. I added these  to the front of the card. On three pieces of white card I have added various die cuts, cut with Marianne dies, to create a scene. Behind the first row of houses I have added yellow card. I attached the embellished pieces of card to the folds at the side of the card. Between the layers I have added battery operated lights. On the front I have added a lamp (Britannia die), snowman (marianne die), sentiment (tonic die on Go Kreate oval) and robin (Dovecraft die).

Christmas Birthday Card

I have used such a cute image from Polkadoodles and die cut it with a Xcut scalloped circle die. I then cut the next size in the nesting set in red to layer the image. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder, I have made the poinsettia with die cuts using Tattered Lace dies. I printed the sentiment using a Tonic Studios die. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Snow globe Christmas Card

While out shopping with my Mother-in-law she told me she loved snow globes so I knew what die I was going to use for her card. I used the Sue Wilson snow globe die and the treat cups that are designed to go with the snow globe. I used turquoise card and white card to matt and layer my card. I cut an aperture with the outside edge of the snow globe die out of the white layer. I then embossed the white card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. I cut the snow globe in turquoise and the snowman scene in white and added a light blow background to the scene. I added some glitter jewels to the treat cup the using PVA I attached acetate to encapsulate the glitter before attached the treat cup over the snowman scene. I then added the turquoise snow globe to complete. I die cut the pierced flags with Sue Wilson dies, the white flag with include a personalised sentiment. I die cut silver poinsettia with Tattered Lace die and embellished them with flat backed pearls.

Parchment butterfly birthday card

This is another card for the butterfly and turquoise lover!! I have used my Groovi plates for this project. I have done several layers. The first layer included the butterfly and a circle, I used my semi circle Pergamano tool to go around the circle. I then used my Pergamano scissors to cut a picot edge, well I tried my best!. I did my white work on the butterfly then coloured it with Spectrum Noir pencils. Using the circle and sprig Groovi plates I have made the next layer. I cut a straight edge around this circle with a standard scissors. I did my white work on the leaves and then coloured them with Spectrum Noir pencils. I then die cut a scalloped circle with a Xcut die. The next layer is also made using the circle Groovi plate. The centre of the circle is plain but I have used my semi circle Pergamano tool and scissors as I did on the butterfly layer. In the centre of each of this semi circles on this layer I have embossed a small dot. I used Pergamano glue the first two layers but I used double sided tape on the back of scalloped circle because you cant see it anyway. I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with turquoise card and white embossed card, I embossed the white card with an Embossalicious folder. I shaped the corners of these layers with a Tonic punch. I have cut a turquoise scalloped oval with a Go Kreate die to mount a personalised sentiment.

Santa Christmas Card

This is my DT project for the challenge over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper. 

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card and gingham card from Anna Marie. I have die cut ovals with Presscut dies from a nesting set in red and white. I have die cut the sentiment using a Elizabeth Craft Designs die and attached it to the ovals. I die cut the Santa using a Tonic Studios die, I like this die for my younger recipients.
