Ice skates Christmas card

This card is for my DT post over at https://digichoosday.blogspot.co.uk/

I have used such a cute image from the Winnie In Winterland collection. I have covered my 8x8in white card with spotty card from Anna Marie. I have attached a strip of embossed white card down my card and embellished it with ribbon. I have die cut a pink scalloped circle using a Xcut die to mount the image. I have die cut a pair of ice skates in pink and silver for the blades and used twine for "laces". I have embellished my card with roses and Tonic Nuvo drops.

70th Birthday Card

I have had a nightmare with my blog in the last couple of days. I deleted photos from my phone and little did I know I would delete my photos from my blog!!

I have had to crack on with some cards today because I have birthdays coming up as well as Christmas.

This card is a little out of my comfort zone but my Mother-in-law is 70 on Sunday and this is her favourite colour and she loves butterflies.

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with a turquoise?? and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Xcut embossing folder.  I have used Creative Expressions Gilding Polish to enhance the embossing. I have used a set by Sue Wilson to cut the frames. I have used a Presscut nesting set of ovals for the sentiment. I have cut the numbers using Tattered Lace dies. I have used Lea'bilites dies to cut the flowers, I have used an embellishment from Chloe Creative Cards to complete the flower. I have completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Car birthday card

My son wanted me to make a card for a colleague with a car like the recipient owns. I have covered my 8x8in card with red card then added some embossed white card and red satin ribbon and striped ribbon. I have printed a picture of the car and mounted it on red then black card and shaped the corners with a punch. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it and die cut red card with the next size in the nesting set to mount the sentiment. Finally I added stars to the embossing strip that I cut with a punch.

Card with Winnie Winterland image

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red and white embossed card. I have used an Embossalicous embossing folder and a brick effect folder that I had free with a magazine. I have die the door, window and curtains with Memory Box dies, the lamp with a Britannia die and the wreath with a Sweet Dixie die. I have added the adorable image from Polkadoodles. i completed my card with Tonic Nuvo Drops.

Advent calendar

My handmade advent calendar. I have die cut boxes usingTonic dies. The calendar is to be shared by my two nieces. On the 24th there is a gingerbread house each with socks. All the other days the boxes have two gifts in. I cut the numbers using Tattered Lace dies. I found the little tree at Dunelm and bought the little pocket money items at Wilko

Gingerbread house Christmas card

Back to card making today. I have been busy making an advent calendar the last few days but that is finished now so back to the Christmas cards. When my niece picked up her advent calendar today she asked me to make some cards for her teachers, here is the first one

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card, white embossed card and green and white gingham card. I have used red satin ribbon down the centre of the card. I have die cut the gingerbread house with a Xcut die. I have cut the gingerbread men using a Cheery Lynn die. I have die cut the scalloped ovals with Go Kreate dies. The white scalloped oval will include a personalised sentiment when I know the details.

Cute Christmas Card

I have matt and layered my 8x8in white card with blue and then white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I have used some patterned paper from my stash and cut a strip to add to my card. I mounted the patterned paper and the Hobbyhouse topper with blue card. I have die cut a blue scalloped circle and a white scalloped with include a personalised sentiment when I decide who the card is for. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo Drops.

Winnie Winterland from Polkadoodles

This is my DT card for the challenge over at https://digichoosday.blogspot.co.uk/. I am pleased to have a permanent position on their design team.

I have used such a cute image from the Winnie Winterland collection. I have matt and layered my card with spotty card from Anna Marie and white  embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I have mounted the image onto green card. I die cut holly corners and added them to alternate corners of my card. I cut the sentiment with a Tonic die. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops on my embossing and as berries on my holly.

Church Window Christmas Card

This is an 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered my card with red and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I have cut a church window in white using a Memory Box die, I used red card to go behind the window. I have cut two candles in white and yellow using a Marianne die. I cut two holly flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die and the poinsettia with Tattered Lace dies. 

I attached the window to the card then assembled all the die cut elements around the window. I die the sentiment with a Elizabeth craft designs die. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops

Jolly Santa Christmas Card

This die is great to make card for children and I often find boys difficult so this is ideal. 

I have used patterned paper from a docrafts pack called Jolly Santa. I matt and layered my 8x8in white card with red card then patterned paper. I have cut a strip of another patterned paper from the same set and mounted that onto red card before sticking it to my card. I have die cut the Santa with a Tonic die. I have put the Santa onto a white rectangle then mounted that on to a die cut frame. I die cut a small circle then added the numbers which I cut with Tattered Lace dies. I cut the Jingle Bells sentiment with a Tonic die.

Elf Christmas card

This is my card for challenge over at movingalongwiththetimes - dies/numbers or letters

I have used an 8x8in white card and matt an layered it with green and white embossed card. I have used a Cheery Lynn trellis die and cut it in red card, I have backed the trellis onto plain white card. I have cut a white oval using a Presscut die and added the sentiment which I cut with a Crafts Too die. I have cut the elf in green card with a Tonic die and paper pieced with red, gold. black and pink card.

Santa Christmas Card

I have used dottie card on the bottom of my card which is from Anna Marie. I have used a tan coloured card for the top, the sentiment and the oval. I cut the Merry Christmas using a Crafts Too die and the oval with a Presscut die. I have used an off white card to cut the Santa. I cut the face in light pink and hat in red and the eyes in blue. I made the Santa using a Sizzix die. It's a great die. I used ribbon from my stash. When cutting small elements in various colours it is a great way to use your stash of off cuts.

Reindeer and sleigh Christmas card

I have matt and layered my card with gold and white embossed card. I embossed the white card with a Crafts Too embossing folder, I die cut the reindeer and sleigh in gold with Tonic dies. I die cut small rectangles in brown for presents. I used satin ribbon to decorate the presents. I die cut a scalloped oval in gold with a Go Kreate die. The white scalloped oval with include a personalised sentiment when I decide who the card is for. I completed my card with Tonic Nuvo drops.

Dad 70th Birthday

A 70th birthday card for a special Dad. I have covered my 8x8in white card with gingham paper from Anna Marie. Using orange card I cut a rectangle to add the image from a Hunky Dory little book. I die cut a small circle and added the number 70, I cut them using Tattered Lace dies. I printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Go Kreate die and cut the next in the nesting set in orange card. The banner is cut using a Sue Wilson die.

Card for an owl lover

I have made an 8x8in twisted easel card. I had these Hunkydory papers and topper in my stash and they are ideal for the girly, owl loving recipient. I have used patterned paper on the top and bottom and use a topper on the easel. I die cut flowers with Xcut dies and added an  embellishment to match the other elements. I have used foam pads on this so it will act as a stopper for the top of the card.

Christmas Card

This is my card for the challenge over at digichoosday.blogspot.co.uk/ I have used a 6x6in white card. I have matt and layered with red card. I die cut the lattice with a Cheery Lynn die and the poinsettia with Tattered Lace dies. I die cut the holly and used red Tonic Nuvo drops for the *berries*. I also added the drops to the lattice

Candy Cane Christmas Card

This is my card for the challenge over at craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper. 

I have covered my card with red card and patterned card from a Papermania Jolly Santa pad. I used satin ribbon on the join of the two papers. I die cut the sentiment with a Crafts Too die. I die cut the candy cane with a Sweet Dixie die. I glued the die cut embellishments to the card.
