Sleigh & reindeer Christmas card

This is a 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered the card with gold card and white embossed card. I  have embossed the white card with a Sue Wilson embossing folder. I have used Tonic dies to cut the sleigh and reindeer. The ovals have been cut using a Crafts Too nesting set, the white scalloped oval will include a personalised sentiment when I decide who the card is for . I have embellished the card with ribbon and flat backed pearls.

Nadolig Llawen - Welsh Christmas card with Nativity Scene

This is a 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered the card with a metallic bronze card and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card using a Crafts Too embossing folder. I have rounded the corners of these layers with a punch. The nativity scene is made using Britannia dies. I have printed the sentiment and die cut it. I completed the card with flat backed pearls

Table Numbers to Match Seating Plan

The bride to be was so pleased with her seating plan she asked me to make these table numbers to match. 

I have used the Tonic nesting rectangular dies for these too. I have used 300gsm card and folded in half and die cut the rectangles red and white. I have embellished with satin ribbon and a pearl heart. I  have put the same design on the back and front.

Seating plan for wedding

I have always wanted to make wedding stationery. I just missed out on this wedding, anyway I was asked to make the table plan.

I used two A3 white mounting boards and joined them together on the back. I covered the board with red card and then white card. I printed the details then die cut with a Tonic rectangle nesting set.

I embellished with satin ribbon and pearl embellishments.

Warm and Cozy

This is for my post today at die-cut-divas. The challenge is warm and cozy. This is an 8x8in card. I have matt and layered the card with red and white embossed card. I have embossed the white card with an Crafters Companion Nordic Embossing folder.  I have made the mittens using a Stamp by Chloe. I have covered the cuffs with with cotton wool. I have used ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is cut using a Tonic die and the flourish is cut using a Cheery Lynn die.

70th birthday Card for Mam

This is an A4 card. I have used the Tattered Lace essentials book die to make this card. I have cut alternate dies with red and white. I have embossed the white pieces with a Xcut A4 embossing folder. The ovals are cut with Crafts Too dies. The numbers are Tattered Lace dies. The flourish is a Cheery Lynn die. The Happy Birthday is cut with a Joy die. I have printed the sentiment before die cutting with an oval, I have decorated the card with paper roses, ribbon and flat backed pearls from my stash.

Poinsettia Christmas card

This poinsettia card has a Welsh sentiment for my son to send  to somebody in school, I have die cut the sentiment with a Go Kreate die. The poinsettia die used is by Marianne and the flourish by Cheery Lynn. I have embossed paper for the bottom of the card with a Crafts Too folder and the folder used for the top came free with a magazine. I completed the card with gems

Personalised Christmas Card

A personalised card made to order. The card includes a personalised sentiment and a house number. 

This is a 8x8inch white card matt and layered with red and white card. The white card on the top of the card is embossed with a dotty Embossalious embossing folder. I have cut the Santa in his sleigh and his reindeer and the snowflakes with Cheery Lynn dies. The lamp is cut using a Britannia die and the post box is cut using a Die'sire die. The buildings are cut using Marianne dies. I have printed the house number and found a tiny die in my stash to cut it out. The sentiment has also been printed and die cut it using Crafts Too dies. I completed the card with gems.

Church Window Christmas Card

This is a 8x8in white card. I have matt and layered the card with red and green card, I have rounded the corners with a punch. I have then layered with embossed white card. I have embossed with a Sue Wilson embossing folder. I  have cut a church window using a  Memory Box die and used red card as the back drop for the  window. I have cut two candles using Marianne dies, I cut the candles in white then cut the flame in yellow and stuck that on top for a realistic look. I have cut two holly flourishes using a Cheery Lynn die. The large poinsettia is cut using a Marianne  die and the smaller poinsettias are cut  using a Tattered Lace die. I have cut the sentiment in red and green  with a Tonic die. I  have stuck them down to create and shadow effect. I have completed the card with gems and pearls.

Sleigh and Reindeer Gift Box

A 6x6in gift box with stand up decoration. I have used my scoreboard to make a box and cut pieces of paper to cover the panels. I have attached ribbon around the lid of the box with tape. I have made a stand  and positioned it on the card so it will lie flat for transportation. I have cut the sleigh and reindeer with Tonic dies. The numbers are cut using Tattered Lace dies. I made a bow to embellish the reindeer

Nadolig Llawen Celtic Card

This is an A4 card. I have used the Tonic Celtic Dream die set. I cut the long celtic strips into the red card. I cut the white card to fit into the gap between and then cut four of the square celtic dies together in red card and stuck them to the white card card. I cut the poinsettia using a Marianne die and embellished them with flat backed pearls. The scalloped oval is cut using a Crafts Too die. The Nadolig Llawen is cut using a Tattered Lace die

I have made a box for some tealights and decorated that with the smaller strip die in the Celtic set.

Bauble Christmas Card

I have made this card with a Welsh sentiment. Nadolig Llawen A Blwyddyn Newydd Dda -

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Cards with a Welsh sentiment are few and far between and when you do find them they are very basic. So my Welsh speaking recipients love seeing their sentiments on the cards.

This is a 8x8in white card which I have matt and layered with purple card and white embossed card. I have embossed the card with a Crafts Too embossing folder. I have printed the sentiment and die cut it with a Crafts Too die and layered it on a purple  cut out from the next size die.  The bauble is cut out using a Spellbinders Heirloom Set. I have embellished the bauble with a poinsettia cut with a Marianne die, ribbon, a stick pin which I have made myself and a pearl embellishment. I have completed my card by decorating the embossing with gems. 

This is a simple but effective card and one my son thinks is "posh" for his teachers!!

Warm drink and gingerbread man

 

My card today is for my post at Die Cut Divas the theme is warm and cosy. I have matt and layered a 8x8in white card with red card and patterned paper from a Jolly Santa set. I have die cut two Cheery lynn lattice, one in red and one in tan and off set them when I stuck them together. I die cut the Cocoa cup and a gingerbread man with a tonic dies. I put black flat backed pearls from my stash on the gingerbread man.

Horse and carriage wedding card

This is a 8x8in wedding card; I have matt and layered the card with pink and white card. I have die cut the horse and carriage using a Tattered Lace die. The heart is cut using a Sizzix die which had been decorated with a lattice and flat backed pearls

Tea Light Christmas Card

I have been playing around making boxes today. I have made a sliding box to go on this 8x8 card with some scented tea lights. I have matt and layered the card with red and white embossed card. I used an Embossalicious dotty folder. The lattice is cut using a die by Cheery Lynn. The scalloped oval and sentiment are both cut with dies by Crafts Too. The poinsettia is cut using a Marianne die. I completed the card with flat backed pearls from my stash.

My favourite hobby is Card Making, I find it therapeutic and I also enjoy the giving of the cards and the appreciation for them.

Front door scene Christmas card

.I make the little wreath in advance with a circle of card and some die cut greenery glued and built up  and add some small red flowers and a red satin bow. This is an A4 card which I have matt and layered with red card and then white embossed card. I have embossed the card with a brick effect folder and a dotty folder. The front door, window, curtains, fence and lamp are all dies by Memory Box. The snowman is a die by Marianne and the ovals are a nesting die set by Crafts Too. I will include a personalised message on the white oval when I decide who the card is for and their house number on the board on the lamp.

Wreath Christmas Card

This is a 8x8in easel card. I have matt and layered the top and bottom with red and white card. Part of the top card I have embossed with an Embossalicous embossing folder.  have cut the wreath with a Sizzix die. I have embellished the card with gems and pearls and "Nadolig Llawen", (Welsh for Merry Christmas) ribbon from my stash. I have used Tonic dies for the rectangles on the bottom. On the white rectangle I will put a personalised sentiment. My youngest son will probably send it to one of his teachers.
