Nativity Christmas Card

A 8x8in white card matt and layered with brown card and white embossed card. The white card has been embossed using a Crafts Too embossing folder . I have rounded the corner of the brown card with  A Tonic punch I have cut the nativity elements out using Britannia dies. The scalloped ovals are cut using a Crafts Too nesting set. The white oval will have a personalised sentiment when I have decided who the card is for closer to Christmas. I have completed the card with flat backed pearls.

Dr McStuffins Birthday card

A card ready for my little niece with her favourite character, Dr McStuffin.A 8x8 white with pink and white gingham card. I have cut out the image and mounted it on white card. I have printed a personalised sentiment and die cut it with a Szzix heart nesting die. I have completed the card with self  adhesive flat backed gems.

Joy to the world Christmas card

 

A 8x8in white easel card. I have matt and layered both the top and bottom with red card and white embossed card. The white card has been embossed using a Creative Expression embossing folder. I have used a Sue Wilson "Joy to the World" die and cut it out with a border and mounted it on red card. The poinsettia are cut using a Marianne die and embellished with fancy pearl. I have die cut rectangles using Tonic dies the white rectangle will have a personalised sentiment closer to Christmas. I love this layout because I like to personalise my cards and making easel cards allows me to put whatever on the top of the card and the stopper on the bottom also acts as somewhere to put my sentiment

Princess birthday card

A 8x8in white card matt and layered with silver and embossed white card. The white card has been embossed with an A4  Xcut embossing folder. The princess has been stamped using a Julie Nutting stamp. I have stamped it on patterned paper from a Paper Stack. I am going to add a personalised birthday sentiment for my niece. I have used the Sue Wilson, Oslo die from the Scandinavian Collection in silver and I will had the sentiment to it. I have completed the card with the Julie Nutting necklace and gems from my stash.

Stamping is a bit out of my comfort zone but I saw this stamp and thought of my niece. I hope she likes it!!

Easel Christmas card

This is an A4 easel card. The A4 card is landscape and the front is folded in half. I have used the Tattered Lace Essentials Book die. I have made a book using red, white, green and spotty card. I stuck this to the folded front of the card. The one side of the card is from a Hunkydory sentiments pad. I have taken elements from the topper and die cut shapes to match. The dove and joy are by Sue Wilson and the snowflakes are by Cheery Lynn. The rectangle on the bottom are cut using Tonic dies. The white rectangle will include a personalised sentiment closer to Christmas.

Sleigh & reindeer Christmas card

A 8x8in white card matt and layered with red card and white embossed card. The white card has been embossed with an Embossalicious embossing folders. The sleigh and reindeer are cut with dies by Tonic. I have cut the sleigh in red and gold and the reindeer in brown. I have made presents with die cut small  squares and with ribbon. I have attached red Sew Easy floss to the sleigh and put it around the reindeer. The scalloped oval is cut with a Crafts Too die, I will put a personalised sentiment in the white oval closer to the time.

New arrival card

A 8x8in white card layered with pink gingham card from Anna Marie. The rectangle is cut using a die from a Tonic nesting set with a Tonic sentiment. The flower is cut using a Leane Creatief die. The pram is cut using a Marianne die, I have cut this in pink and mirror card for a realistic finish. I have completed the pram and flowers with pearl embellishments.

I have been busy today making something a bit different, I have made little shoes for a new baby. They are so easy to knit with a cute little button to fasten them.

Cute Christmas card

A 6x6in white with spotty card by Paper Mill Direct. The topper is from Hobby House which has been layered on a scalloped circle cut in green card also from Paper Mill Direct using a die from Xcut Xlarge nesting die set. The scalloped hearts are cut using a Sizzix set the white heart with a personalised Christmas sentiment closer to the time when I decide who the card is for. The holly corners have been cut using a Cheery Lynn die and the bird and bird house have been cut using a Marianne die. I have completed the card with self adhesive gems from Hobbycraft.

Little garden Sally stepper card

High Heels

This card is always a hit when I make it. I'm getting prepared because my sons school mates are going to be 18 this coming academic year so this is a safe girls card now I need to think of a boys card.

The card is an 8x8in white card. The spotty card used to matt and layer and for the flourish is by Anna Marie. The trellis and the buds are also by Anna Marie. The flourish is cut using a Cheery Lynn die and the shoes are cut using a Tattered Lace die. I have embellished the card with paper flowers from my stash and liquid pearls.

Bestie Christmas Card

A 8x8in white card. The Bestie image has been coloured with Spectrum Noir pencils. I have die cut the image using a Xcut nesting die and layered it on a red scalloped circle cut in the next size of the nesting dies. The flourishes on each corner of the card are cut using the mini flourish from Cheery Lynn. My personalised sentiment has been die cut has a tag die that I had free on a magazine. The ice skates are cut out using a Joy die I have put a red bow on the white ice skates so they match the ones in the image.

Christmas card

My card today is for Creative Moment's Challenge 74 - Anything goes/Summer sun. I have decided to go for summery colours but with a twist, a Christmas card.

The image I have used is Snowman Family from Crafty Sentiments. I have matt and layered a 8x8in white card. I have coloured the image using my Spectrum Noir pencils. I have then matt and layered the image and sentiment using Tonic dies. I have die cut patterned paper with a Xcut die.  I  have embellished the card with snowflakes that I have cut with a punch and I have put flat backed pearls into the centre of those. I have also added some twine and a silver snowflake charm from my stash.

A white 6x6 card covered with patterned paper from stack and cardstock. I have mounted a Hobbyhouse image on scalloped circles which have been cut using Xcut xlarge nesting dies.
